Yes, we know your opinion. We have no shortage of athletes at DB. The sky isn't falling.

I thinks it's like another poster just said going to be as big as moving White to LB possibly bigger. If you have paid attention to Stevens this should get you pumped. That's why I've posted so much in here, I feel like a big kid lol. I really want LSU to have success, no matter who the coach is. This move is going to be huge IMO. Match up nightmare right here.

He runs 4.4 40? That's lacking speed?

Odell Beckham runs a 4.43. Jacoby Stevens does not and thats ok.

Stevens is probbaly a 4.5-4.6 guy & if he's a great route runner he will thrive in the slot.

I'm not here to bash players. Take a look at his film from his senior year, he is barely getting the edge against high school opponents.

Sure buddy, really doesn't matter what you're here to do, and he may not run it everytime he takes off but I'll bet money he can hit 4.4 and 4.49 is still 4.4. It's no doubt higher 4.47 or 4.49 but he has hit it on many occasions so doesn't matter to me what you think. Carry on

You're right about his speed but he isn't playing a true receiver or slot right now. Watch Jaylen Samuels highlights from 2015 for an idea of how he will probably be used.

Simply not a sub 4.5 guy.

Don't care.

Josh Reed was about a 4.7 and he set record books on fire at LSU.

Wendell Davis actually ran a 5.0 at LSU when he arrived (true story) and he was simply prolific at WR.

I'm interested to see how he does on offense.

Took me watching 2 mins of the very first highlight film on YouTube to see that this dude just made LSU's WRs a lot more dangerous. Now my 2nd fav wr behind Drake..I think Drake has the potential to be an All American at LSU under Canada. I'm so ready for some damn football..

Might not be a good comparison but Jacoby might be used how Ole Miss used Evan Engram.

Actually, imo, that comparison would be pretty spot on.

I mean that's how I see him being used..I think this will scare alot of sec defenses once they see him play offense.. absolute match up nightmare

Plays very similar to Drake Davis.

No kidding. The guy is a playmaker - plain and simple.

One of our biggest complaints of the Les/Cam era was them not recognizing/involving playmakers on offense. Seems like O/Canada are doing just that perhaps.

Just saying, we could theoretically run a 5-wr empty set that looks like the following (damn I wish they still made NCAA for PS4 ):

Chark
Davis
Stevens
Anderson
Sullivan

McMath and Kirklin may well end up the 2 most underrated studs in this class.

Both are special athletes.

McMath looks legit 4.5 or under on film. Great speed for 215.
