The Womens Basketball team lacks a lot of talent as well but find a way to make it work, and they will be getting into the NCAA tournament. At the end of the day talent can only get you so far.

I know most people hating on JJ but look at Arkansas. Mike Anderson is a pretty good coach and it took him 4 years to get Arky in the tourney. Last year they barely missed it by the last few games. Just like we might. And Arky is equally talented as LSU.

Here the OP and his ilk sit. Miserable, just flat miserable over the fact that a college basketball team lost a game. Thinks they'll just hit the Internet to express their misery; might as well offer some professional opinions about the coaches and players, too. Surely, there are others (yes) who likewise get so intensely bitter whenever an LSU team loses a damn game.

On paper, we should win 4 of the last 5. 3 outta 5 are at home. Arky & Ole Myth should be the only games in question. If you can't beat UF,TN at home and Aubie on the road, you don't deserve NCAA bid.

If Dale had just a good 5-year run and then was history, I might agree, but he took a nothing program and won the 2nd most games in the history of the SEC with that nothing program. So I think he was better than shite. If his assistants were that phenomenal, they would have become head coaches very fast.

Martin and Mickey on the same team, the leading scorer in the JC ranks , and as much depth as we've had in 15 years.LSU got just who Daddy Dale and Collis Temple wanted. The Bag Man was hand picked. He strangely reminds me of another LSU coach, if you can call him that.
