Never.

Sure! This is the jacked up LSU team being mentioned here; really fouled a good bama team. I can think of several other occasions when this team could have shown up. Talent equal? Sure, we just don't get the same performance from ours for some reason.
Couple of things to ponder here chief....
Bama has had an easier road the last few years.....it's a fact
LSU has lost 3 games since 2010 and 2 were to Bama
Go look at Miles' record if you want to see proof of how dominant this LSU team has been with Miles at the helm.
You obviously must not be old enough to remember what pre-Saban at LSU felt like (with a few exceptions).

Nico=overrated. CJ Mosely is their best backer.

Yeah, Nico. Because your team managing to control a whopping ONE-THIRD of the game clock, giving up 435 yards to your opponent, and avoiding a double-digit loss ""only"" to the luck of:
-2 missed LSU FGs,
-A fake FG that should have been ANOTHER FG,
-A ridiculously lucky bounce on an on-sides kick,
-A horribly inopportune PF penalty when LSU had the ball on the Bama THIRTEEN YARD LINE,&
-Being let off the hook by LSU TWICE in the last 7 minutes when all we needed was ONE MORE FIRST DOWN, either on:
a.) the 4th and 1 Wildcat misfire, or
b.) from the Bama 32 yard line with 2 minutes left......
Yeah, but you 'beat yourselves.' OK
This is the first angry post I have read about the loss, instead of that "moral victory" bullshite going on around here. Finally, some balls around here.

Could there be any coincidence at all that the only 2 "bad" games Alabama has played in 2 years came against LSU. Nope.....Nothing to see here. Gosh doggit, they just happened to have off nights when they play LSU....just not focused...those poor guys.
I hate those arrogant bastards and will not root for them one bit. I hope the lose this week, SEC Championship, or NC. They don't "deserve" shite. A bunch of spoiled bitches. The players, the fans, the state....they all permeate the same smug attitude.

It goes both ways.
If you are going to say LSU lost that game because of "missed opportunities"....the exact same could be said about the 11/5/11 game when Bama missed 4 FGs to lose in OT.
My non-bias opinion on the 1/3 game is that LSU played up to their max potential and Bama played below theirs. I give LSU credit for keeping AJ from beating them but Bama still averaged 6.6 yards per carry against LSUs defense. Having said all of that, Bama still found a way to win the game in the last 2 minutes of the game.
Bama is the better team but LSU proved that night that its nowhere near as great as the nation thought.
A stat that I am interested to see....
When was the last time LSU lost a game at home in which they won the turnover battle?

Absolutely.....but multiple 50+ yd FG's aren't gimmes

Mett may have played to his max potential (to date, at least)....but the TEAM in no way did. I thought our D was actually good, not as good as they could be.

I'd say slightly......but they def weren't on 11/3

Unfortuately, they are good enough to beat everyone else pretty easily, IMO. Just further cements the fact that these two teams are pretty even.

Whatever, Nico.
We still made your QB cry.

bam-TARDS are full of pride. They can't accept anything that suggests their program was handled.
they played like that b/c they were forced out of their comfort zone (which is situational game plan paper).

With all those tree and outs being a result of stupid penalties.... Oh wait they called them once for pass interference on offense. It's funny they were giving every advantage and we flat out looked better in all aspects but final score

In comparing the two bodies of work I'd have to agree with Mr. Johnson here folks. An inconsistant but jacked up LSU team put it to a Bama team having a rare bad day. Just saying...

ON LSU’S PERFORMANCE AGAINST ALABAMA)
LSU played the right way to beat Alabama. You have to be physical with them to match their physical game, and have a quarterback that completes a high percentage of third down plays. Alabama knew one of those games was coming and they proved they have a lot of different ways of winning.

It is not that Alabama was that good, it is that Bama had not played a real team.
Posted on 11/9/12 at 1:55 pm to CalTiger53
if les miles would have actually believed in his team that they could man up and play head to head and not feel he needed all those gimmick bs plays, lsu would've won
Posted on 11/9/12 at 1:57 pm to HoopyD
LSU dominated the 2nd half and except for 3 missed opportunities (FG's) LSU would have won by 10+ points. Sound familiar from 2011 season but with a lot more squeaky wheel gets the grease b.s. LSU was the better team. Hopefully A&M can put Alabama's arrogance on it's arse! We are LSU and we let our playing take care of a lot of b.s talking. I think the country agrees w my analysis. We hardly dopped a spot in the BCS rankings despite "losing" on the scoreboad. Geaux Tigers! Got to keep fighting despite the no BCS championship possibilities in 2012. It's been a long season with a lot of growing pains. Hopefully LSU comes out playing like a championship contender from start to finish in 2013. Geaux Tigers!
