Have these tards ever actually lost a game in their whole history because the other team was simply better???

Not since Tennessee beat them in 1969.

I have a local cop at my gym. We talk football. He is a Bammer fan. Not from there, never been there. He gave me shite. Even though he wouldnt take bama and the 10 1/2. Told me they would beat us worse than moo st. Said they are so incredible. Said that we played our "best game ever" and that bama played "worse than ever". "And we STILL beat y'all". I told him he had no reason to get cocky over it. Kept running his mouth. Subsequently, I called him "a fricking dick". I guess I'll watch my speed in town from now on.

and avoiding a double-digit loss ""only"" to the luck of:
-2 missed LSU FGs,

-A ridiculously lucky bounce on an on-sides kick,
-A horribly inopportune PF penalty when LSU had the ball on the Bama THIRTEEN YARD LINE,&
-Being let off the hook by LSU TWICE in the last 7 minutes when all we needed was ONE MORE FIRST DOWN, either on:
a.) the 4th and 1 Wildcat misfire, or
b.) from the Bama 32 yard line with 2 minutes left......

This sounds every bit as homeristic and ridiculous as anything Nico Johnson said (which was basically just repeating "the Process" mantra). Hope that is what you were going for.

The Bama OL tackling the LSU DL on the last drive didn't hurt them.......

This is part of the reason why I refuse to cheer for the Gumps agin. Incredible. They never lose! Why they only have 16 or 18 NC's is just beyond me!!!

I've been on this site a while, and I still haven't seen any team beat LSU; it's always the refs or LSU shooting themselves in the foot

Who gives a frick why you lose. Who cares who is better. I couldn't care less if we are the worst team in every game we ever play as long as we win. I care much more about winning than who is better.

Who is better should only be talked about when talking about future games, used only for prediction purposes.

so what? we got a lot of positive press out of the game despite the loss, which should bode well for our preseason rankings next year.

of course I'd rather have the win, still be in the hunt for the NC and be able to tell them and their fans to stfu, but we got some positive out of it from a perception standpoint.

If you are or ever have been an athlete, you understand what he is saying. He is saying, that he believes that when they play their best, they can beat anyone's best.

Can't fault a guy for having that frame of mind in my eyes. Winning starts with buying into your own ability to do so.

Hey, he was actually being rational. He was even giving us credit on the last page. Don't chase off the (very few) good Bama fans.

I would have to agree Bama fan.
I'll rebut his post.
- 2 unforced fumbles, one on your 10 yard line
- abandoning the run
- AJ overthrowing a wide open Amari Cooper, whom was headed towards the end zone.
- AJ was not collected for much of the game
- Alabama dominated the first half
- Alabama had poor tackling (3 LSU 19 yard rushes in first half, LSU 45 yard pass play to end the 3rd)
- Alabama's defense was on the field for 2/3 of the game, of course they're going to get tired

I'm an LSU fan and I can honestly say that we lost to UF.....and to Bama on 1/9....because they were the better team that day.

LSU fans are supposed to find the silver linings in losses......no different than ANY other fanbase. Now gfy and worry about OSU.

An inconsistant but jacked up LSU team put it to a Bama team having a rare bad day.
Ever think that LSU was the reason for that "rare bad day"? Nah ... must have been something they ate the night before .. right?

Bad coaching....just like last year

quote:

- AJ overthrowing a wide open Amari Cooper, whom was headed towards the end zone.

Mett overthrew a wide open OBJ for a TD as well....(late safety help)

quote:

- AJ was not collected for much of the game

Maybe because LSU had something to do with that

quote:

Alabama's defense was on the field for 2/3 of the game, of course they're going to get tired

It's what happens when your team is pounding the ball and wearing the other out.

Bama won.......time to move on

Couldn't care less what their players say/think. I saw the game. Just hope they keep reserving their one bad game of each year for us!

Sure! This is the jacked up LSU team being mentioned here; really fouled a good bama team. I can think of several other occasions when this team could have shown up. Talent equal? Sure, we just don't get the same performance from ours for some reason.
