I agree, but with a small lingering doubt because we really don't know the whole story or truth.

The players are quoted as being surprised Lee didn't play. If there was something Earth shattering that was a secret, the players wouldn't have been surprised.

Besides, it wasn't bad enough to kick the kid off the team. Hence, it wasn't bad enough for that shite treatment.

I'm generally disappointed in CLM's performance last night. And I don't like how he handled the JJ/JL QB matter over this season one bit. I'm not sure it says as much about Les Miles' character as it does about his good judgment.

What died for me was the illusion I was beginning to buy into that CLM actually had good judgment and a real plan as a coach. I now think he just goes with the flow, the lines of least resistance, or with whatever is in his own best interest.

I'm not debating that at all. But this whole "frick you" hate fest is pitiful and embarrassing for fans of a team that won a conference title and went 13-1.

Dinardo had many flaws not the least of which is that he was a bad coach. But he was a good man.

Hallman. Meh. Not so much.

But, this is the 1st coach who I would encourage friends to NOT play for. He's shown his cards with the JL situation and it isn't pretty.

Nobody knows the whole story. Anyone ever stop to think a certain QB might have some huge personal issues that he can't resolve?

Frankly, Miles showed himself to be of low character every minute of the JL situation since the Bama game with UGA being the pinnacle prior to last night.

I'd already started to not enjoy seeing HIM on the sidelines even as I enjoyed LSU victories.

You have an unhealthy attachment to one player. No one player is bigger than the program. But many fans will now shite on the program anyway. It is baffling.

did he not willingly deceive the entire fan-base throughout the course of the season?

The whole lie about the "two quarterback system"

Miles NEVER wanted a two qb system...he only wanted two qb's when he was stuck with Lee as the starter.

Miles knew all along that as soon as Jefferson started again (which would have happened no matter what) the "two qb system" would end Lee saw garbage time only after that.

However, his duplicity was easily detected...no one believed a word he said regarding qb's all season long.

Had this loss happened at the first of the year as opposed to the last, it would have been different. It wasn't even the loss, it was the horrible, shitty effort and game planning, preparation that have people in dismay.

LSU isn't the top program in the SEC, and is FAR from being at this point. That illusion is gone. Last night proved the guys on the other sideline are vastly superior to the guys on ours. One game? Yep, but it was a huge debacle.

LSU fans have high expectations, we know how high now. They have been capped for a while.

FIFY

Also, to the OP, I agree 100%. I can't believe what happened. At the 4th quarter, Mett should've gone in. We had 1 quarter to score more points than Arky did in their whole game. Not gonna happen. Mett needs experience, and that was the best place to start.

P.S. Then again, seeing how that strategy worked out for Gilbert and Texas, maybe Mett should've stayed on bench...

I've been a leader of men for much of my life and when it comes to how you treat people, I will say with 100% confidence that I have no skeletons in my closet that come close to the Miles handling of JL.

It was shameful. He should be ashamed. I have no respect for the man whatsoever.
