It's simple. I've been an LSU fan for my whole life. I'm 44 so yep, that includes some REALLY frickING LEAN years. I endured Hallman. I endured Dinardo. I know bad. I can cheer through bad.

With Miles, I've always had lingering doubts but you just can't argue with Ws and Ls. Those numbers are on his side. And, I fully expect that to continue for the most part.

But, what died for me is this. Until the last two years and more importantly, until the last half of this season, I always really LIKED Miles. I mean, he just comes off as awfully likable and someone you'd like to know.

Sure, I questioned his overall handling of JL even a bit last year. But, this year, it was absolutely a gross case of poor character. And that's what's died for me. I will continue to be a huge LSU fan as I've been for all of at last 35 yrs of memory. But I'll be cheering for a team where I have no respect for the coach.

He can win and I'm sure he will. But he cannot earn that respect back. I'm sure he doesn't care about my respect and that's fine. But, it's gone nonetheless and I am 100% certain that I'm not alone.

I've looked at other teams and wondered what it's like to be a huge fan of a team with a coach of low character. What's that like Arky fans I would think? Well, now I'm going to be forced to answer that question myself.

frick YOU MILES.

I'm sure some people wont agree with me.

But many will.

Character matters and this year, Miles showed his.

There's just no defending Miles or JJ anymore. What happened last night is inexcusable.

I agree, but with a small lingering doubt because we really don't know the whole story or truth.

In what way?

Name a coach that tells the fans and media the whole truth about team and personnel matters.

At least we wont have to worry about anyone worshiping Miles like a deity the way the gumps do with Saban.

Agree 100 percent! You will catch some heat because everyone loves miles but there going to have a tough time defending his actions. If lee comes in and throws 2 picks lee gets the blame here Miles gets all the blame, stupid stupid move. Miles is the worst game day coach In the SEC and last night proved it! No fricking adjustments. If you ever said Miles was in the same class of coaches as Saban your delusional.

I was firmly on the bandwagon and still are to an extent. My faith level dropped off a helluva lot though. Miles has to have top assistants and superior quality to win. He is too content with his own press at the moment.
