After that Tulane loss, I wasn't feeling very confident that this team would do much of anything post season. I felt somewhat better after Bama.

Great post!

We have so many fair weather fans and so many clueless fans.

I have to admint that one of them is my oldest son, who loudly bashed CPM when we were down 3 - 0 in the first SR game; he has been calling for him to be fired for years.

Thanks for sharing.

In searching whether I made LSURussian's list, I noticed the last post on the first page lists me in their sig quote, which is the first time I've ever seen it. Adding to the hilarity, I've no idea of the context.

ETA: upon review, the quote is still 100% correct. lol

On April 25, this team had lost 2 earlier to Kentucky and Florida and for a 2nd time the night before to Tulane. If on that day you predicted that this team would win the SEC, SEC Tournament, Regional & Super while going undefeated, you are either the biggest pumper on this site or you smoke some really good stuff (or know nothing about baseball). There was nothing in the body of work to that date that would indicate that this was anything but a very average LSU team. They were destine to probably make a regional but would be hard pressed to get out of a Super. Hitting was pathetic against good pitching, especially absent was quality ABs with RISP. Pitching was OK but still finding itself. Papierski was batting about .200 and Coomes/Slaughter had struggled while Kramer had lost 50 points from his average. It was not going in the right direction.

Funny thing about sports.

If you believe this than YOU are the one who knows nothing about baseball. A lot of people saw it, including journalists with radio shows and everytime they said this team has talent, they were ridiculed by retards. And now those same retards can't stand the fact that the other people were right and have to make long ridiculous rambling posts to make themselves feel better about looking stupid. It's been going on for over a month now, and I've been laughing ever since.

So you had no doubt the 27-15 (10-8) team would make the CWS and win all but two games after that?

Lol, okay

Has anyone mentioned the post by a reputable insider that Zach Watson would never sniff the field here?

Well, let's see....I attended all but 3 LSU regular season home games (I missed those 3 consecutive games because I had pneumonia), I attended the 3 LSU games in Houston, I went to Hoover and attended all 4 of the LSU games there, went to the 3 LSU games in the Baton Rouge regional plus the first SLU/Rice game and also both of the super regional games against Miss St.

You??

Those who have been paying attention to LSU baseball the last decade or so certainly should have known that a ranked LSU team is more than capable of getting better and better as the season heads down the home stretch.

No good excuse for pissing on a talented team or giving up on them.

People just don't like to be reminded about how wrong and college baseball uninformed they were proven to be.

If "huckleberry" means "village idiot" then you're correct.

Nowhere in the thread you linked do I say bitcoin is "worthless." I even discuss Jamie Dimon's interview that the block chain technology used for BTC could be useful in other applications.

You're trying way too hard to save face. That's a major FAIL on your part, huckleberry.

Oh they'll be a full thread soon, don't worry. Most of the older ones are locked.

Hilarious you still can't admit you were wrong.

What's hilarious is that you can't link to a single post of mine where I said bitcoin is worthless as you claimed earlier in this thread.

You can link to a locked thread, you just can't post to it. So I'm just going to call it like it is.....you're lying.

But my question is WHY are you lying about it?

There are tons of posts you made saying bitcoin wasn't viable and the value was artificial.

Pretty much a the textbook definition of 'worthless'.

Until then

This prompted me to go back and look at my own posts. This may be the first season where I kept my head on straight. Here are two choice posts during games:

re: Baseball Game 4: LSU 8 vs UNO 11 | Final | CST & 100.7 FM - TBoy on 2/21/17 at 9:30 pm:
“This is the game that reminds the midweek pitchers and bull pin that they have to be ready to go, for real. Good job by UNO in making the point....”

And the one I’m most proud of, down 3 runs in the top of the 8th inning:

Find one post I've made that says BTC's value is "artificial" and I will say you're right and I'm wrong. I never said that about BTC. I said it has no intrinsic value. (I realize you don't know what "intrinsic" means so look it up.) And I'm still correct about that.

But, keep moving those goal posts. Maybe someday you'll be right.

You need a new textbook.

If you want to continue this bitcoin discussion, go to the Money Talk Board. You've hijacked this LSU baseball thread enough....
