Can you go ahead and bump all your posts talking about how worthless Bitcoin is while we're at it?

Just find this highly ironic.

I would say Micah Gibbs earned his money for his handling of Papierski, he's been the key down the stretch for this offense.
And kudos for PM not benching him midseason due to offense, since his defense was way better than any other catcher on the roster.

Befense ! you are so right ,if I ever have a negative thought on my Tigers you will never find it on the internet .

Thanks CheerWhine !!! LSU has the worst internet baseball fans period. No way to argue that.
Interesting read.
Interesting read.

I'm surprised to hear that from Poncho Villa. He's leading the charge harassing the beavers on their board.

Interesting, I don't remember some of those posters from game threads throughout the season

I get people wanting to talk about the play at the plate just wish they could do it in another thread, this one went on roughly 11 pages. 2-3 pages melt for an out at the plate seems reasonable for in game. The call was made, have to move on.
Since I'm ranting, in a 3 game series, the series isn't over after a game 1 loss. Although game 1 winners have better odds to win the series. Posting it's over etc etc etc gets annoying af.

When we were 27-15 everybody was frustrated.
I wasn't calling the season over or demanding CPM's head on a platter, but I admittedly was hoping for the best while in a state of disbelief about the present.
I didn't become convinced this team could make a run until the Arkansas series. Prior to that, there had been only a single game where the team showed they could rally for a win when trailing (the UF win). At that time, the game seemed like an aberration.
Obviously the hope I was holding out for materialized, but I can't say I knew or was even confident it would happen.
I did find the melt after the USA game entertaining. We rested several starters including Watson. Beau Jordan had a couple tough plays at the wall on deep fly balls of which Duplantis probably would have caught at least one, and it was clear by the pitching decisions CPM was trying to learn who could be trusted.
I don't get the ridicule of passionate fans who were panicking halfway through the season. At the time, the team hadn't shown that they were capable of the run they've made.

On April 25, this team had lost 2 earlier to Kentucky and Florida and for a 2nd time the night before to Tulane. If on that day you predicted that this team would win the SEC, SEC Tournament, Regional & Super while going undefeated, you are either the biggest pumper on this site or you smoke some really good stuff (or know nothing about baseball). There was nothing in the body of work to that date that would indicate that this was anything but a very average LSU team. They were destine to probably make a regional but would be hard pressed to get out of a Super. Hitting was pathetic against good pitching, especially absent was quality ABs with RISP. Pitching was OK but still finding itself. Papierski was batting about .200 and Coomes/Slaughter had struggled while Kramer had lost 50 points from his average. It was not going in the right direction.
Unless you had inside information - secret playbook, PM had been holding the hitters back, he had not been letting them SAC bunt because they hadn't installed that into the offensive game plan yet, or something of that nature, there was no reason to be very optimistic about our chances for post season success.
That being said. Give all the credit to the players for stepping it up to another level when it was on the line. And to PM for making adjustments. The running game started working better (hit & run) and he finally started using the SAC bunt.
So yes I was wrong, but only wrong on my interim assessment of the team. I never thought they were incapable of playing at a championship level. Too much talent for that. But they weren't playing at full capacity until they kicked it into high gear beginning at Alabama on 4/27.
Congrats PM and Tiger baseball. It was fun celebrating at 1:36 a.m. in The Box.
