He would have only been a sophomore or junior. Doesn't hurt to have Toliver though.

Tolliver > Robinson

Robinson played some big ball, but he got a lot of credit for taking on Evans when Manziel was highly inaccurate that game. I like Robinson man to man, but Tolliver looks more physical and better all around by a smidge at this point. Tolliver looks quicker also.

I love tolliver as much as anyone but rashard was built to play on Sunday's too. We could obviously have used him this year.

The way Toliver is playing, I'm not really sure what the defense would have looked like. Who moves to the Nickel?

Why was he kicked off the team? Someone mentioned stealing from teammates, but what's the story behind this?

Why?

Tre White was always the better player. And so far KT is having a better season than RR ever had for us.

RR had 1 good game for us and it came against Mike Evans and TAMU. He played well that game, but gets way too much credit. Our DL got after Manziel and forced him to make bad throws. And the rain didn't help either. Evans actually got open a decent amount, Manziel just missed him.

But RR was extremely inconsistent for us. He got burned quite a bit. He had the potential to become a great player and could have become a big time CB. But he wasn't mature or committed enough to reach his potential. We gave him countless opportunitie to get his act together and he constantly failed to do so. He did this to himself.

If he gets his act together and proves himself to the coaches, I'm all for 2nd chances. Hope for nothing but the best for RR because he has so much talent and potential. Would hate to see it go to waste.

And on a side note...

Is RR even playing ball anywhere right now? What's he up to?

For sure. Robinson was solid in coverage, but not a great tackler. He would have been starting at the beginning of the year I'm sure. However, he's proven to have many problems and may not be worth too much trouble. I admit though, I'd really like to have Tolliver and RR as starters next year.

Suppose to be back next year if all goes well. Guy was pretty good on cover.

Lots of people said frick Mathieu and look at him now. Immaturity was RR problem and it was grades not stealing. He was very well liked by players and staff.

This program is getting so strong that an injury of off the field incident can bury you.

Ask Bain and all the other players we have let go. All pretty solid or potential but not spectacular.

I think the point was having Robinson in addition to the rest of the DBs, not in place of.

Point being, you wouldn't HAVE to choose

Thats kind of s astretch.

Along with Valentine, they have been told what they need to do to get back with LSU. I can't say what they are doing right now and what they're grades are like but I think the odds are more in favor of them NOT coming back then "supposedly" coming back simply based on their history.

Imagine there's no heaven.

Imagine anyone wants to imagine.

Off week......go play with yourself ....or at least imagine to play with yourself
