If Jennings trots on the field to start the first game. Give me a rough over and under of people who will actually boo. I don't think that Les actually understands the frustration the fan base feels right now.

We deserved to be globally embarrassed if that happens.

i'd be very surprised if miles doesn't start Jennings.

I feel that whoever he starts will shine against McNeese. it's gonna be shitty for harris to not get the opportunity to shine first, though.

I doubt he will start due to an unconfirmed punishment related to his former legal troubles.

Not saying right or wrong but the answer is yes. I told my son when we saw JJ get off the team bus for the UK-LSU game in 2011 that he looked like he was going to play and that the fans would boo - and boo they did...

However, If Miles announces ahead of time that he is the starter that will reduce the boos considerably just due to fact it is an known.

Booing is one of those subjects that people will never change their stance on and never understand the other side. The booers will defend their right to do what they want and tell you that they are booing Miles and not Jennings. And the anti-booers will scream how booing the kid is doing way more harm than good and we're hurting ourselves in PR and recruiting. And no matter how much either side screams or defends, it will never change.

Jennings couldn't complete a pass (except to DBs) against New Mexico St. last year. Unless he made great strides this year, he would struggle against McNeese; they're better than bottom feeder division I teams.

I hope not. It wouldn't be his fault that the coaches picked him to start. Last year, fans said that they were booing the coach when Jennings went into the game but it looked like they were booing Jennings. I'd rather fans show their detest for the coaches choice by either walking out of the stadium or not showing up for the next game. We dont need to show up they players. Booing not only angers the coaches but ALL of the players. It also doesn't help our recruiting when recruits are on a visit.

I want to see Harris get start and continue to start no matter how poor he plays. Harris needs the experience.

Probably. Considering how many shitty fans lsu has in the fanbase, it would not be surprising.

And Lee was never the same QB from that moment on...

Geez, I hope not. Pro sports is one thing, but not college.

They would be booing Jennings starting over Harris, therefore they would be booing Les Miles. If Jennings starts game one, we are not beating Miss St. in game two. Therefore we will not be competing for a championship this season. So yes, people will boo and they should. College football fans boo poor play and poor coaching all over the country. Get over it.
