Nothing. It told me absolutely nothing. I don't care what the answer is, I'm pushing any agenda by asking. Just thought I'd ask a simple yes or no question. It got a FEW people discussing, which is the whole point.

The only thing I've really learned is that this place is truly miserable. Posis, negas, you're ALL pitiful right now.

Much better question, because if Byrd drops it there is still 1-3 seconds left on the clock.

If Ms St makes the FG and the rest of the season goes exactly the same, no Miles is likely gone after A&M.

And people ask dumb hypothetical questions.

if that ball is tipped in the air- ballgame. and another very poor example of miles' clock management. it was a toddler playing with matches. whether it was lombardi or miles, it was lucky as hell.

If they just line up and kick a field goal and it is blocked- ballgame. See how that works? Can you just appreciate one of the best plays in LSU history and realize that the coaches and players executed perfectly?

Dem days there were the good ole days. The offense could actually complete a forward pass. I miss those times, I took the ability to complete passes for granted.

If Tennessee hits that touchdown pass in OT in 2000, is Saban the coach at Alabama right now?

See how this works?

I may be wrong, but this has the feeling of a disguised dig on Miles. This argument goes both ways.

On the flip side,
If Ford doesn't step on the chaulk on his way to a TD and we put up 6, I think we are probably not playing Alabama in the championship game. Miles may be in the HOF with 2 NCs and all those wins.
If we tackle Yeldon on that screen pass, we have another SEC championship probably and playing for a NC.

If, If, if....

Miles should get more credit for his successes than he's getting. He deserves some criticism, but let's not take away what he has accomplished.

UGA would've whipped us in Atlanta that year.

yes they did let a lot of time run off the clock before snapping the ball, but the ball was in place ready for play with close to 22 seconds. he could have clocked it though since the play was on 3rd down.

So why ask? Just to say you started a thread on TD?.

But it wasn't "a simple yes or no" question... It was a bullshite hypothetical that required elaborate speculation over numerous years...

No it didn't. No one took it serious because like I said its a stupid hypothetical requiring enormous speculation.
