are you implying that CPM might leave because of tigerdropping posts and fan expectations?

I am saying if fans don't have loyalty to a coach, why should the coach have any loyalty to the program?

because he doesn't coach the fans. He coaches the players. And he makes 750k base and his checks say 'LSU'. I can assure you if he leaves, it will have absolutely nothing to do with the fans. He doesn't read tigerdroppings and he's not boo'd at games. If anything, LSU baseball fans are frickin' fantastic.

You don't think that had something to do with the fact that for 6 position starters (7 if you count K-Rob), this was their first postseason?

What is the excuse for 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015?

He should get a nice raise IMHO but if he does leave I am for going after Tim Corbin or Mike Bianco.

LSU should tell PM to earn his raise with production on the field and meeting the expectations of the fanbase or TYA, if he using this to get a raise...

Dude I know it's a bitch that you are having to go to summer school so you can get out of high school next spring. Now quit playing on the school's computer and get back to studying.

I'll be excited only if LSU hires a highly qualified replacement.

At 58 hes at or very near his peak as a coach. Personally i'd let him walk.

He will get a raise then shite the bed next year. Then people will be screaming why did he get a raise and we should have let Texas take him.

What about the fans? I personally believe a coach needs to ignore the fans, but a significant number of people on this board, and off this board, crap all over any LSU coach anytime a team loses a game. I think many of you believe LSU should be undefeated in all sports, and any loss is a reason to fire the coach. It's crazy.

I agree that the coach firing mentality after every loss is crazy.

As to the blame for this board, I would hope a coach that has no problem taking kids to task publicly would be able to handle to criticism.

frick him for Texas approaching him and showing interest in him? Ok

For interviewing. I'm glad others would want him but if he interviews, that says something else - whether he wants out and/or he is using it for a raise. I have a problem with that.

If it were that easy then Miles would have been gone a long time ago.
