If CPM leaves, does this board share the blame?

I personally think this is 100 percent a move to get a raise out of LSU. We look to be loaded next year, and our crappy women's BB coach makes more than he does.

But, given the instability of state education, the ineptness of our university leadership especially athletic director, etc, it's not impossible to think he may want other options.

He's got to have seen how CLM was allowed to toss in the wind, and it's not pretty.

What about the fans? I personally believe a coach needs to ignore the fans, but a significant number of people on this board, and off this board, crap all over any LSU coach anytime a team loses a game. I think many of you believe LSU should be undefeated in all sports, and any loss is a reason to fire the coach. It's crazy.

This was probably his best coaching job at LSU, and I believe that if he were to leave today, half of y'all would be excited.

He's not going anywhere. If in fantasy land he did go somewhere I would feel 0% responsible...and also in that case....bye.

Of course not. Do you honestly think PM has any idea what is said on here?

If he does, then he really should just go.

I'm not worried about him leaving. But if he does there are a lot of really really good coaches that would be all over the LSU job. There may be other CBB jobs that are equal to it but none that are better. And it will be hard pressed to find one that is equal as a coaching job.

He's looking for a raise, but if Texas wants him they could get him. Didn't UT invest 1 billion in gold a few years ago? Personally I wish he'd go.

I believe that, and I also believe he is strong enough of a coach to block out the noise.

However, players are not. They are college kids. They read stuff, it effects them. CPM has to know some of the stuff that is said out there.

I think your thread is stupid. But if you needed further clarification after my first post, it's understandable why your thread is stupid.

So basically you talk a bunch of junk with no facts to back it up. Thank you. Do you feel better?

He ain't leaving.

But if he does, I hope we hire the coach from Stony Brook. Or Houston. Or Coastal Carolina.
