2. The style of up tempo basketball he puts on the court
He has his shortcomings but he got this program headed in the right direction. The crowd at the PMAC hasn't happened since Shaq. Yeah is was OU and yeah we got Ben but there a ton of casual observers who all of a sudden have a reason to bitch. Nobody even cared to bitch when Trent was here.
While I'm on a roll, I think Ben is a tremendous player with on court IQ that is second to none in college basketall. Is he perfect? Nope. Could he be more aggressive? Yep. But I wouldnt want him on any other team. He is a selfless player who represents LSU the right way and will continue to do so during his NBA career.
I like our team. I think we are getting progressively better. Since full strength, we've been pretty consistent, inching in the right direction. We could be really strong come march.
Oh, the PMAC is not a dump and the cox logos don't bother me.
Did I cover it all?
And inb4 no x's and o's, poor timeout usage, Darcy sucks, Bens passive, half court O sux, free throw shooting, mental focus down the stretch

The strange thing about this team compared the last years is last year's team ran the court much better and they pressed a lot. This team has pressed almost none. You think with Simmons this team would be better in the break but last year's team was incredible when they ran.

I think we don't press because Ben plays a ton of minutes. And with Victor and Ben being our ONLY post players who aren't retarded, we can't afford any foul trouble. We suffer mightily when Darcy or Elbert are on the court

It was his signature style of play that made him successful at UNT and somehow win 19 games in 2012. Where that style and high level intensity went, I have no idea either

I thought the OU game was packed...grant it I was only on one side, but people were standing everywhere.
