The Danny McCray criticism was definitely warranted. He couldn't cover shite. But the blame should have been aimed more at Bo Pelini for constantly asking him to cover guys in the slot that he had no business covering, like Percy Harvin.

True. He was often left to man up on slot receivers and had no help from the corner.

He played probably the best game of his career against A&M. Finally this season it didn't feel like we were playing defense with 10 people.

He played really well but I still don't see him as LSU starting MLB caliber. He only has 65 tackles on the year, meaning he will finish will <80 most likely. Which would be pretty good if we had an elite Dline like in 2011 but that's not the case.
