How Stoops used Trevor Knight last night is what I'd like to see with Jennings

or Harris, for that matter.

Roll him out, run a few read options, a few speed options, a few QB draws... keep the defense guessing who's actually going to keep the ball. And employ a few screens instead of relying upon a good pocket in the face of a rush.

A man's legs are terrible things to waste.

I agreed with the rest of the post, but this shite right here made me feel uncomfortable.

Bama adjusted in the second half though his arm alone won the second half.

That kid last night was outta control. Took control of the game and played like a veteran. Not sure we can compare our guy and their guy. Yet....but, yes, need to make him mobile...

We did roll him out near our endzone, and he had a blitzer in his face and almost got sacked.

All this stuff happened. Your 60 year old arse just missed it.

Don't forget about dropping the ball on top of covered WRs 30 yards down the field. We need that in the game plan too.

I do. You're a creepy moron that has about as much actual football knowledge as a 2 year old girl.

Er, no. For the most part Cameron handled Jennings like Zach Mettenberger.

true freshman vs Redshirt Freshman. Their QB had an extra year of practice.

But I agree he looked really poised and sharp last night.

next year I want to see an offense that uses the run to set up the pass. Our young O-line will be much better next year, LF will be scary for opposing defenses, jennings won't be a great passer but will be good enough to keep defenses honest. Hopefully we have some good receivers to step up to take advantage of one on one opportunities we will get all game.

I would also say don't do something you haven't done, us grounding and pounding has been LSU football for years and years don't change that, mix in a few zone reads, options, roll outs, but don't make it your entire offense.

Well basically just that you are a ruhtard. We did some of these things in the first start of Jennings' career. You know, like when he hasn't been working on those types of things with the first team all year.

Most impressive play of the night was the OU first down from their own 1 and he fires a bullet for the first down at the 12 with a guy draped all over him. Wow! That took stones.

Zach would have thrown it a lot more than Jennings

and an option at the 1 yard line with Zach

You're an endless Miles apologist who knows shite about football. It's obvious to the whole world that LSU's offense is simple and often ineffective.

while I'm not happy with the way he played I'm glad he had this game, he get's his feet wet against a good iowa defense he will be much more ready when we play Wisconsin.

not this year

only reason we were ineffective against Iowa is because they have a good if not great defense and Jennings had no confidence.
