Do you have an opinion on JJ vs JL and Miles use of the QB this season?

As a JJ supporter

I can understand someone not being sold on JL, heck I am not sold on him. What I cannot understand is someone being a supporter of JJ. He is not a good qb. I would love to hear someone give a defense of their position if they think he is a good qb.

u must have LesMiles genetics to think Lee hasn't improved and Jefferson has gotten worst.

All Im saying is this for me to judge Lee FAIRLY agaisnt JJ now I would have to see him start and play the majority of a game

Makes no sense. He already plays better without even playing the majority of the game. The offense moves better with him in and it's glaringly obvious that he gives a better chance to pass the ball. If we want a runner who can't pass, we'd put RS at QB.

"its 2010 bro , who is the better jr QB ? be honest"

actually lee is a rs jr. He was on the 07 team. He has had 4 years with crowton and still makes little mistakes and bad passes that will hurt us against tge rest of our schedule.

Both of them have yet to play a mistake free game. I find it hard to believe they both just suck. It's all on the coaches.

I'm more worried that Lee will transfer after this year if he continues to play like he has and still is forced to split the snaps.

I'd honestly hate for him to leave, but it would be in his best interest at that point.

the kid is a class act, im sure he's got plenty of people making him feel good telling him he should be the starter and to just bide his time, he'll get it....

But im sure him a JJ aren't friends....im sure theres no love lost between them...

book it...

Are you on drugs? Without JL LSU is not undefeated and that's a fact. JJ has been terrible it's not 2008 anymore. If you want a 9-3 team then JJ is your guy.

You can be standing in the middle of death valley, in summer and 99/100 will swear it is hot. There will be one who will swear it is not. Human nature is strange. What is obvious to most, a very few....for reasons unknown will see fiction as fact. The facts are clear as can be in the QB situation but there are going to be one or two who seriously cannot see it.

JL has managed to be very humble and to say all the right things to this point. do you think the JJ loyalty is begining to frustrate him ? I am afraid that at some point JL's patience will run out. Surely by now he has earned the right to start and get into some kind of rhythm. The whole thing seems like it has the potential to be a huge mess !

What a retarded post

Lee's playing his part and staying under the radar ... Would you rather he have a target on his back like Cam "The Sham" Newton ... getting everyone's "best shot" week in and week out and getting busted up or injured/out.

Lee got 50% of snaps at Florida

Lee got 66% of snaps for McNeese St

Lee will likely get the great majority of snaps against Auburn ... who must prepare for two types of QBs ... Running QB (JJ) & Passing QB (Lee)

If you're a gambler like Miles, do you run your thoroughbred to f-ing death or hold him healthy and steady for the stretch run.

I say kudos to Les ... let JJ start every f-ing game ... Let JJ get his 15 - 20 snaps a game

JL against UF was as mistake free as you can expect a QB to be.

How many QB's has LSU had that have played a "mistake free" game?

Flynn vs. OSU maybe, but he had the INT (probably was TT's fault)

JR played about 5 perfect games at LSU, but he is one of the few LSU QB's to ever do that.

did he? We almost lost the game because we didn't play him enough. We were very, very fortunate to win

because Jefferson went 3 and out on his drives, therefore resulting in less plays. Although Crowton said JJ didn't play more because they didn't want him to get injured.

i'm not really sure that he is a gambler. He may take some risks, but every coach does. I don't think that the correct calls = gambling, no matter how much is on the line for the play

give me a fricking break. You think that Les is trying to save Lee? UF was a pretty big fricking game to be holding your "thoroughbred"

short yardage, red zone, and when we have a big lead (because of lack of depth at the QB position).

he is a pocket passing QB. He is nothing like Cam Newton in any way, shape, or form. Defenses are going to try and stop him regardless, because they are trying to win the game. I doubt Alabama is going to be playing a top 5-10 team any harder because of who their QB is. Giving away offensive possessions hurts the team, especially the defense (#1 or #2 defense in the country IMO).

Easy - he's back in the mix, the team is undefeated, and the coeds are throwing themselves at him again!

I don't know you at all, but I know you don't really believe that.

And if anybody EVER had good reasons to transfer, it's JLee at LSU. But he hasn't, and he's stuck it out here. I gain more and more respect for that dude every week to put up with the shite he puts up with and still keep his head pretty high.

I agree. Problem is he's watched JL clearly outperform JJ for 3 weeks straight. It's not even close, a true no-brainer. Yet each week, he trots JJ back out there for 50% of the snaps. I truly don't get it.
