Get over it, its huge for LSU to have 2 losses and still everything INCLUDING a chance at the PLAYOFFS still up for grabs.

But it pays the bills, thereby preventing other, more serious problems!

I haven't seen anyone say "we stuck it to florida". However, what I have seen is a lot of LSU fans that are glad that alleva stood up for us. We made every concession to play that game on the weekend it was scheduled, and florida didn't want any part of it.

Next year will work itself out. I think everyone acknowledges that this was actually a compromise on the part of both schools. Well, everyone except Foley. Who has been blasting LSU as being uncooperative.

it's not a win, everyone is IMHO so drunk on Coach O and that Joe demanded a Nov 19 home game-and got it..that they are missing the bigger picture.... Joe is not a fit for LSU, Coach O may do great but it is far from certain and we have to hire a new HC that Joe will decide on...what could go wrong? everything

Those people own businesses, don't they? Businesses that will benefit from patrons on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Yeah, a good bit of them probably do. But are those businesses near campus or downtown? Because that's the only places in BR that see a difference in sales. People heard Joe say LSU isn't giving up a home game, he played the "the city needs it" card to get support from fans, and people ate that shite up. In the end, LSU would've noticed that one less home game a lot more than the citizens of BR.

The past year had been a PR nightmare for LSU.

Alleva botched last November, and now, no matter what the locals think, LSU came out looking like the bad guy. The media is just crushing LSU, which means Alleva failed again.

How can you say that and be so insensitive? The UF fans in Gainesville had garbage cans and things knocked over by the strong winds from the storm.

Not to mention the widespread sunburn pandemic that ensued.

So how does Fla playing in BR 3 of last 4 years help us in the next 2, when we we have a new coach and should make runs for the NC.
We have 2 loses already this year. We are going nowhere. Sorry. This was a bad trade!!
