How is this a win?
From '17 to 20, LSU will play in the Swamp 3 of 4 games.

Didn't want to give in to the SEC/Florida re the 19th but would rather have lost a home game against a scrub this year than this outcome. This sucks. Sorry not sorry.

Because we made Foley whine like a bitch!

South Alabama would have brought just as much revenue this year and we lose a home game next year. LSU loses $6 mil in ticket revenue this year and $10 mil next year. Bottom line, we lost big time.

It is not it is just the situation we are in and have to do the best we can with what we have been dealt. That being said because Foley was such a little bitch both teams have to now make sacrifices. This is all on Foley the little gator bitch!!!

Would rather have played at UF this year then put ourselves in the position we just did.

So, to be clear, you would rather lose TWO home games, eat the lost revenue, AND allow UF to essentially get away with dicking around with the hurricane for the sake of not playing in Gainesville 3/4 years?

This was an equitable remedy (or as close as possible to one). And it is damn sure better than traveling to Gainesville only on their terms for the sake of reshuffling a home game.

How is it never mentioned that Baton Rouge was just destroyed by a major natural distaster?

The city needs all of its home games, this year more than ever. That revenue will be vital to get people back on their feet.

How so? The people that need money to get back on their feet are the ones that are going to these games and spending money.

No you wouldn't have. You would bitch and moan no matter the outcome. It just so happens to be this one.

Those people own businesses, don't they? Businesses that will benefit from patrons on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

LSU would rule the Big 12. OK. would be the only competition. If nebraska rejoined probably wouldnt be to bad. As a whole though that conference is bad. Imagine playing kansas, iowa st, kansas st , texas tech on a yearly basis and those road trips

remember when we all thought Texas A&M would be 5-7 every year in SEC?

Someone explain this to me this....

Unmolested season -

LSU has home game on 19th 2016 vs. USA
LSU has home game vs. FLA 2017

Molested season -

LSU has home game on 19th 2016 vs. FLA
LSU has road game vs. FLA 2017

Is everybody retarded? LSU lost a home game out of this deal and got nothing in return. WTF?!

...and by the way, we should have been playing a seriously banged up FLA not a healthy fully recovered FLA.

I have a question.
Why didn't LSU come up with a total $ lost by not playing USA and ask the SEC "family" to foot the bill. It would still sting locally to loose a game, but Florida would be loosing one too, so that is a wash considering the circumstance. Write us a check for 5-6 million, we buy out USA, then travel to Gainesville and play the game on the 19th. Next years schedule is not compromised!

Really dude?

You are the exact reason why fans of other schools call LSU fans cry babies. Our fans will cry about anything.

ya really, if it is necessary to make up the for competitive balance and the best interest of the conference as a whole, then why wouldn't the expense of LSU loosing a no conference home game in order to play a conference make up game be shared by the entire conference (including LSU and Florida) Chop up the 5-6 million 14 ways and take it out of the media revenue check that comes at the end of the year.

Not crying. Just perceptive enough to know we didn't win anything. If you wanna say both sides lost, fine. But this whole we stuck it to UF narrative is nonsense.
