Good one.

you need to do the same. I said for a 5th string qb he did very well against our defense

No, you said he lit it up. I then countered that opinion with numbers that don't show that he lit it up, and compared those numbers with what everyone agrees with is our rather pedestrian numbers. I never defended our passing as some great achievement. I used it to put your ridiculous argument in context. Again, just stick to the negativity. You're doing horrible with actual numbers.

Explains your lame posts, but doesn't explain why you remain engaged.

I feel better than if we lose out, for sure.
If our offense suddenly becomes pre "Bama offense" again I will be completely flabbergasted at our ability to turn a great team into a terrible team 2 games out of the year.
If Miles were a smart man (that wants to keep his job) he'd win two games in true LSU fashion. Down to the wire. If he blows out Ole Miss and A&M the frustration has got to be amplified.
Obviously, if he loses, it's probably worse for him.

But this was definitely our year. the only true question mark was QB which was good enough to win.

Next year we have 3 guys playing linebacker that Welter could have beaten out. I don't see how our secondary will be as good. O line will be replacing a lot and shifting folks around.
We might overcome, but this year was a better chance.

Funny you mention our QBs. Everyone says our passing game is junk, and we're averaging 8.23 per attempt.

So to recap your opinion, 8.23 against mostly SEC competition is not good, but 4.05 in an 11 AM home game is lighting it up.

Just say our passing game is junk and we can just scratch what you said.

And, let's be honest, if LSU were down to it's 5th string QB, do you really think we would have done better? I doubt it.

We're not scratching what I said. The numbers are what they are, and I never said our passing was great.

Another amazingly irrelevant post regarding the Syracuse guy "lighting us up."

He's the guy that had the anchored thread yesterday. ?Then he went to the help board to whine about it being anchored.

Excited with the strong finish and building momentum for a strong next season with Harris and LF?

Yes. This team is still a force to be reckoned with.

frustrated with WTF happened in early November?

Yes. Never should have lost to Arkansas. Let me stress that again....NEVER.

Annoyed because it means Miles will be the coach for the foreseeable future?

No. I would prefer him to have a killer instinct though. When your opponent is down...keep them down. Don't let up. This is my frustration with the coaching staff.

My perspective is that LSU is somewhat consistent over the years, has winning records year in and year out, and continually gets great recruits. People hate the SEC and living out west - I hear a lot of trash talk when LSU loses. I'm not the type of person to trash talk and I'm not running around getting in everyone's face but I have to listen to the earworms out here when the team loses.

There are a lot of universities around the country who would kill to have a coaching staff like the one we have. No staff, or HC is perfect but we have one that can pull in great recruits, quality kids, and can win on a consistent basis.

It is easier to accept the losses that should have been - BAMA

It is not as easy to accept losses that should not have been - Arkansas

If LSU wins the last two games, I will be very happy...that means a likely Sugar Bowl berth, which would be awesome. Hoping the team can wake up and rally.

I would assume that everyone wants the team to win out and win the bowl game, whichever bowl game it turns out to be.

That doesn't mean that everyone is okay with the status quo.

If we win out AND win the sugar bowl, I'll consider the season a success, compared to the disaster that was last year.

If we finish 9-2, we'll either be #2 or #3 in the SEC which is an overachievement, imo, given our thiness on our front seven on D. We will get either a Sugar or a Citrus bowl bid which are great bowls I think. If we win that bowl, it will be a very successful season in retrospect.

I am not excusing that performance versus Arkansas which was putrid. BUt, I have been an LSU fan since I was 9 years old (1960) and LSU has had no undefeated complete seasons in that time. A 1 or 2 loss season is far above average looking at our history. We should strive to be perfect, but, as faans, we cannot EXPECT perfection.
