Happy to see my Tigers finish strong. But then Im nervous that the same crap will happen next year. We will get lulled into a sense of stability, then we'll get chased down in the parking lot and raped by Bama, which will then crumble our season. That has got to stop.

If you've given up on the season, don't watch anymore and we won't have to hear your opinion on tRant.

Uhm I am a tiger fan. I am very disappointed with the last 2 games and have come to the realization we could easily lose our next 2 and bowl game. But that in no way means I have given up and won't watch and root for my team. Yeh I have problems with CLM...but LSU will and always has come first for me over him or any other coach.

Well you had Herbstreit and Corso, the two most well know CFB analysts, pick us to play for the national title before the season so....I don't think it's accurate to say no one thought we'd win the SEC.

That was a surprise to everyone. Just cuz they said it didn't mean it was close to factual.

I believe the MAJORITY of the fanbase was expecting 2 SEC losses and was saying 2016 should be the year.

It's been a vicious cycle the last couple of seasons. We get tired of Les during the regular season, stew until NSD, LES IS THE MAN, he does a lot of good stuff off the field, we see he's a good family man, says all the right things during the spring game and leading into fall camp, get super stoked, LES HAS IT FIGURED OUT, LAST YEAR WAS ONLY BECAUSE........, and it's the same thing.

Why easily lose our next two? The two teams we have left play nothing like what our past two games were. Sure we could lose them, but easily? That doesn't really jive with anything we've seen this year.

Point being:
What does it say about the shape of the program if the reported booster's & admin's fatigue w/ Les is true?

It jives with what we've seen the last 2 games.

But I'm confident this team comes out with new purpose and we see a much better effort the last two games.

Or I'm hopeful.

Did you not read my entire post? OM and aTm are nothing like what we've faced the past two weeks.

and people call me crazy when i say there are people here that would rather see Les Miles lose than LSU win

...sorry Choc, I believe what I see. I'm not delusional, and I don't operate on blind faith that Miles will fix things. If you want this garbage that he's producing, good for you.

...btw, I have a feeling the next 2 games will work themselves out. Let's see if your boy can prove us wrong.

If I'm Alleva, I secretly tell Miles that next year, nothing less than an SEC championship will save his job. Not a "decent 10 win season," or a "hey we won a good bowl against a quality opponent."

It's championship or bust next year, because hey, our recruiting can't really get much better. The players are there. The championships are in reach and our coaching philosophy is keeping us from acheiving our reachable goals.

Are you saying Arkansas has a better defense at Ole Miss? And they're NOT playing in Oxford?

Not saying it's an impossible task, but at Ole Miss isn't the ideal rebound game.

if your hatred for Les Miles makes you want to see LSU lose than you're just a shitty fan...that's the bottom line

team looked like it had given up against Arkansas. Other than LF I didn't really see the effort. I don't see the pride or swagger we have had in the past.

Ole Miss still has a physical dline. People have said otherwise on here but I don't think running all over them is likely. I think our secondary and defense in general will struggle against both Ole miss and A&M. I thought Ole Miss would be tough before the last 2 games and that we would destroy A&M...just not so sure about A&M now.

Syracuse had a 5th string qb and we haven't exactly put away anyone early. Ole Miss and A&M have more talent than every team other than Florida and Miss. St that we faced in the first 7 games.

And our defense couldn't stop the Special Olympics 400 meter hurdles at this point.

I don't think either of their defenses are all that. I like our offensive line's chances more against OM than I did the past two weeks. I also think our defense will have more success against OM than they did the past two weeks based off how those teams operate.

I'm not saying the game this weekend is a gimme. I just like our chances more than I did the past two weeks.

After the Alabama game, I would have said Arkansas at home was a way easier task than at Ole Miss.
