That did much of nothing. 160 yards and 3 TDs, one of which was blatant OPI that wasn't called. He didn't do anything special and it gets really old hearing about him "lighting us up."

Then you haven't watched Arky play since the Toledo game

Did a lot of people honestly think we were going to lose that game?

It's the common argument they use.

Arkansas is now an end of the season juggernaut.

Syracuse is a really good team who just caught a few bad breaks which led to 8 consecutive losses.

i've noticed that there are A LOT of people that have been posting the last week or so that were nowhere to be found on this board the first 8 weeks of the season

There should have been. Arky is a less talented version of Bama. They are the kind of team that gives us fits. And they've looked a lot better the second half of the year. They are not the team that lost to Toledo.

I'm just having a hard time believing Ole Miss on the road would be an easier task than Arkansas at home, especially after the beating they've taken the last two weeks.

But we'll see.

They are a physical team that we seem to play the week after playing one of the most physical teams. They aren't some rent a win no matter what they did in September. IF you can't see that, then I have no reason to take you seriously regarding this sport.

Who has said this? There are more people talking about their QB's dominating 160 yard performance from that day than there are people saying that.

I am sorry but those stats against us is lighting it up. Kelly is going to go off Saturday.

They had all the motivation in the world to come out strong against Arkansas.

-Embarrassed after Alabama, so let's show we're still an elite team.

-Let's avenge that 17-0 debacle from last season.

-We need that ugly gold boot back.

But nothing.

my bad....i guess your 20 or so posts in the last 8 weeks where you never actually discuss any of the games excludes you.

Sorry if I reserve most of my posting outside of the abortion that is the game thread. I like to give myself a chance at enjoying the games.

That we will be stuck in a perpetual cycle of being good but not good enough.

The most frustrating place to be I think

for a 5th string qb it is...you have seen what our 1st string qb's have done the last 2 years right?

and we are talking about Syracuse's 5th string qb...I bet they have had some impressive recruiting classes

If the Tigers finish the season off with two losses I'm content. I predicted 2-3 losses at the beginning of the season so I really can't be upset. If LSU would have made the playoffs this year they would have exceeded my expectations.

I, like most fans, got overly excited with our wins over mediocre teams and started to think we were better than we are.

I've been a big Les Miles supporter for a while but he's starting to wear on me. I think he redeems himself next year. Everyone is sick of the "next year" comment but people were saying that before the season started.

You're just being negative.

LSU will definitely be better next year.

Ok, you're right. 4.05 yard an attempt is just lighting the world on fire.

Funny you mention our QBs. Everyone says our passing game is junk, and we're averaging 8.23 per attempt.

So to recap your opinion, 8.23 against mostly SEC competition is not good, but 4.05 in an 11 AM home game is lighting it up.

Just stick with the negative stuff and don't mess with numbers. You clearly can't handle it.
