That one was an obviously fake cramp.

we would never fake an injury or a cramp to get a timeout! LOL I was picking about it being FAKE.

Yes the Blur at which they play does give them a huge advantage for teams not conditioned for it. SEE TENN. first half compared to second half. But they are still very talented and have smart offensive coaching.

One of the more comical things to come out of the Tenn game was a quote from a Tenn defensive player in the third quarter. Between plays he said something like "Man if you guys don't slow down out here, I'm going to toss my cookies" to an Oregon offensive lineman.

They just weren't in good enough shape to keep pace and the colapsed under the pressure. Plus, they didn't have much depth.

It has shown that it doesnt work with the exigencies of a big time game, tv timeouts, real officiating crew, etc... deeply affects their "blur" system. so who cares, quit talking all this shite about some gimmick, and play the fricking game already,

Good Lord...

Have your mechanic on standby, & lose the number of your chiropractor. Your whip will need a front-end realignment, & you'll have no more need for an "adjustment" after blasting down that stretch of road.

Like a plowed field, overlaid with asphalt.

EDIT: The gorgeous vistas make up for it, though. I mean, who can resist seeing the siren song of the petrochemical plans nestled off to either side of the highway out there?

ASU and Stanford did this a number of times last year. I came to the conclusion that if a guy goes out for an injury and doesn't stay out of the game for say 5 minutes of playing time that the team should be charged a time out if they want him back in the game sooner. This is going to be a problem for officials going forward. Fast paced spread offenses aren't going away soon. People will have to adjust.

Personally, I think if a guy goes out for an injury

5 mins seems like a long time. I think a few plays would be better then just going out for one play.

Let's think about the kid for a minute. Now if someone is hurt and can't play, it makes sense that he should be checked out and evaluated before going back into a game. Anything as short as a couple plays isn't going to stop the fake injuries. Plus, if a team wants to "burn" a timeout to get him back in the game they can. Nothing keeping him out of the game other than the coaches at that point.

I mean if he got shaken up and a little dizzy it won't take but a few plays. If he's cramping then it should take him a lot longer.

Actually many teams faked injuries against us last year. The first was Tenn. Our players even said so, down on the field and could tell. But here is the list of teams that all did it. In order.

Tenn
ASU(they did it real bad)
Stanford(they did it real bad until the refs jumped them about it and they stopped)
Cal(they did it the whole game. And a Cal coach got suspended for it)
USC(a tiny bit)
WSU(a tiny bit)
All the rest did not fake any: Washington, UCLA, Zona,OSU, and Auburn.

It seems more the earlier teams did it until they figured out all the TV camera's were focusing in on them. They did not want to be made fun of on ESPN for faking.

BTW, we are still a very solid team even when not running in our "Blurr" mode(high paced-no huddle). It probably only gives us a 10 percent advantage. But ya, it gives us that little extra edge. I still think we would of won all those games last year, although much closer, if we did not do our Blurr.

As far as the joker who started this thread. I apologize to intelligent LSU fans on this site that you have some complete morons in your fan base. People like him make you look incompetent.

Watch these funny short clips of teams faking an injury.
Cal faking them
ESPN focusing in on them
Stanford doing it until the refs chew Harbaugh's arse.(not seen in this video is right after the refs jumped Harbaugh about it and he had this little boy got caught look on his face, lol)

I sure LSU does not do that. If they did I would be pissed. For In the NCAA rulebook, under a section called The Football Code, feigning injury is listed as an unethical practice.

“An injured player must be given full protection under the rules, but feigning injury is dishonest, unsportsmanlike and contrary to the spirit of the rules,” the rulebook states. “Such tactics cannot be tolerated among sportsmen of integrity.”

I guess the best way to show what frustrates Duck fans is in this link. Watch #44. Watch how he limps off the field sits ONE play and runs back on the field like it's the first play of the damn game. NOTE: The same player did this fake injury more than once in that game.

LINK

In this one, a WSU player just "sat down on the field".
