Is he even draftable?

What's the ceiling for him now? 3rd? 4th? He'll be pretty much IR'ed the first year most likely.

Considering it is his knee and not his arm, of course he is draftable.

Some smart team should be able to pick him up a round or two later than if he wasn't injured and that could be the best thing for his long term career. The 2nd contract is when guys make the $$$$$.

He can hardly move on pair of good legs, this injury does nothing to his draft stock!!!!

I am not sure that we ever got to see Zach with good legs. His knee was an issue for this entire season IMO. I do think that it could cause him to drop a round or so.

Accepting that we aren't draft experts, just a loosely assembled group of know-nothing anonymous internet people, we agree that Mett's draft stock has not fallen and he will be fine.

His draft stock has dropped for some GMs and coaches, but not for others.

As long as he can prove that he's recovering well, he should be OK.

However, some people just don't recover from that injury.

Culpepper anyone?

i think you guys are being too generous. Zach had a bum knee all year now the knee just got destroyed. He will fall pretty good.

Raven's insider said that ZM8 was graded as a first rd talent by two GMs. I could easily see him going in the 3rd Rd now.

Zach was being giving a 1st round grade prior to this. He won't drop past the top of the 2nd round.

Everyone keeps saying "late 1st". But, what team in that position has a need for a QB?

1st round grade doesn't always translate to going that high fwiw.

we don't know what the prior injury was, or just how bad this one is. an ACL tear isn't necessarily as bad an injury as it used to be. not saying that he'll be like Adrian Peterson and heal like a superhero, but guys have torn their ACLs and come back to play well.

also, it's not like he's a QB that relies on his mobility, or hasn't played well with a brace on that knee before.
