Ohio State @LSU late 80's. Miserable in more ways than one.

that tenn 05 game was my first game in tiger stadium. the place smelled like an old gym locker room and you could see the air it was so thick.

I would probably go with the Super Regional with Tulane in 2001...

Absolutely miserable, and I have to think that the last 2 games made it feel even worse.

I agree the App. St. and UT games were miserable, but I attended an away UGA football game in the early 2000's that was just as bad. The only problem was there was no humidity to cool you off.

It literally felt as though someone was holding a heater to the back of my head. I remember taking my shirt off during the game to put over my head, and it was not to show off because trust me, it was not a pretty site, but the lack of the sun melting my skin was worth the embarrassment of having my shirt off.

Tenn in 05 was my hottest. I sat in the S endzone which always seems more cramped than anywhere else in the stadium. I poured half of the water I bought on me to keep me cool. Looked like I had jumped in a lake by the end of the game.

Good to see y'all can relate to how hot it is here. Oppressive for fans and players, but we gotta make it happen!

I think the OP has bad memory...that 95 A&M game was like 115 degrees on the field. They were bringing drunk LSU fans out on stretchers. I cant believe it was like that in Omaha.

By far, a womens gymnastics meet. Had to send others to the concession stand, didnt want to stand up. Kept my legs crossed the whole time.

I agree the others mentioned were hot, but this one sticks out as the hottest ever. Miserable.

A&M in '95

I wasn't in Omaha, but the hottest place I have ever been was at Kyle Field in the early 90's. I think it was Curly's first year (A & M ran the opening kickoff back for a touchdown and they beat the snot out of us). I can't imagine Omaha was hotter than that.

Tennessee game in '05 is definitely top 3 hottest games for me. Georgia in '03 and at Auburn in '06 was pretty miserable. I had to go to the first aid room in Jordan-Hare...not sure if it was the heat or the fact that I drank a case of beer before the game started. Probably both.

I think everyone is arguing over which burner on the stove is hot. Man, hot is hot...and I can just tell by stepping outside anywhere in the deep south and midwest today that it is everloving HOT. Doing any kind of physical activity right now sucks...I say this because I was in the GOM this weekend reeling in Tuna and Mahi Mahi and I thought my brain was going to drip out of my ears it was so hot.

I was at the 95 A&M game and it was damn hot but last night at the Blatt was right up there and I was sitting on the 3rd base side not directly in the sun. I never stopped sweating last night. The locals I talked to said they couldn't remember heat like that at the CWS.
