I dont know about resigning, but the rest of the nation is paying attention. This morning on NFL blitz they mentioned how they hope no NFL replays are blown the way the SEC officials are blowing them. Then during the second qtr of the Redskins @ Falcons the guys calling the game mentioned the blown PP INT replay.

Due to the abundance of blatantly bad calls this season (and other seasons) by SEC Officials, do you believe that Rogers Redding, the head of SEC Officials, should lose his job?

He should lose his job for putting refs out there who are blatant in doing their job.
You have to be joking if you think these are "bad" or "missed" calls.
College football is no different than any other big business....you don't leave anything to "chance."

Some historical perspective. The SEC has always had the worst officials going back to the 1970s. From my unscientific observation I would attribute only 20% of it to bias for one of the two competing teams, but 80% to incompetence. They're just not really bright folks. Don't know the cause.

If he resigned, maybe his decision should be reviewed upstairs

As sad as it is... for nationally televised games, I would be much more comfortable with the telecasters making the call. At least their dialogue would be heard by millions of listeners. And more often than not they get the call right.

Yes, he should. Slive should be run out of town and the SEC needs to move its headquarters elsewhere.

CBS and ESPN have a 3 BILLION dollar 15 year contract. There is more money in an undefeated Alabama vs Florida match up. College football has unfortunately gone the way of the WWF. College football is officialy made for TV drama.

Me too. The reason they get it right...is because we are all watching; they interact with us, we buy in...or they wouldn't be where they are.

But with the almighty bureaucracy...no accountability. Just like the politicians...they grab what they can, and deal with the flac later; and then cover each other's asses.

Eats at the heart and soul...of the very spiritual essence of what is valuable and eternal, re the competative mechanism.

When Big Money is involved, it is no longer a game.

do many of you HONESTLY feel there is a bama/FL conspiracy ? like, seriously ?

Initial knee jerk drunken response... YES! After thinking logically about it... NO!

I met a Big XII official about two weeks ago and in the referee world, SEC officiating is the laughing stock of their profession. The dude seriously LOL'd IRL!

No resignation is too easy. He should be terminated and fined. Furthermore, a criminal investigation should occur for game fixing.

I would like to further add the rest of the nation agrees as FACT shown LSU remains #9. This is vindication in itself. Bama will get worked by UFs D, if not slip against Allbarn.
