re: New house, do i cut the cord? - BigD45
If you can get Frontier Fiber, go that route if you're planning on cutting the cord. Comcast will have a 1 TB data cap. Frontier basically doesn't have one. Their theoretical data cap is 10 TB, but they haven't ever enforced it. Honestly, if I were you, I would get TV and Internet from them. ...

re: Cannot get CBS via HD Antenna In Lafayette - BigD45
Exactly what I have in my attic. I pick up everything in Lafayette and most, if not all, of BR and LC. Don't use it often at this point, have it for loss of DirecTV or potential cord cutting.
Yes, it's an awesome antenna! I have mine up for the same reason you have yours, but I...

re: Cannot get CBS via HD Antenna In Lafayette - BigD45
It looks like CBS is a VHF channel there in Lafayette, as it is here in Houston. I have a Clearstream 2V, and I pick it up just fine. Also, an RCA Yagi picks it up a little better here as well. Mine is just mounted in my back yard at 5 feet off the ground, but I run it into an RCA preamp. AB...
Yep... some major bull shite going on. Our MUD says our levees can hold 58' yet the forecast of 59' yields a voluntary evacuation? The county rep is saying we wont flood. Somebody is lying but I'm not hanging out to see who.
Yeah, that's a big pile of steaming dog crap! We're go...
