I am always appreciative of a win.
I will say though the Mississippi St game last year got out to be so promising.. then nearly blowing that and losing on a possible fg at the end just deflated so much joy from that game.. that we let off the gas and Miles went Miles after such a promising first half.

Hmm, I thought I remembered you being kicked out.
Nope. He's a good friend of mine. And didn't miss a single class. That was his first LSU game. And as a Yankee boy he was overwhelmed by the atmosphere and booze.

You think he'll ever forget his first game in Tiger Stadium? Ha, talk about leaving your mark.

If you got to enjoy the pure pain and misery on the face of any Tennessee fans that day then you wouldn't say that about that game.

Given that it was the beginning of the myth of tyrann I don't remember it that badly.

LSU @ AU 2012 (maybe it was 13) was like 13-10 final on the plains and we were just supposed to crush him.
Walking out the stadium I was just not thrilled, or happy.

I find it amazing that somebody didn't get fired over that shite.
If you followed LSU closer, you would know that game cost our OC his job at LSU.

There are too many to Choose from unfortunately. So many games well in hand, only to end with doubts about how good we really were. I cannot ever remember being as mad as I was at that Tennessee game, though. We were so much better than them, but were out Coached, out played and out everythinged all day. Freakin miserable. I wanted Miles gone that day.

There were two such wins in 2010. The above mentioned Tennessee victory, and the N. Carolina win in the Georgia Dome. The Tigers were winning that game BIG and allowed an inferior, short handed team to come all the way back, and only a non call for pass interference in the end zone bailed out the Tigers. Felt hollow after that game, and felt the same way after the 2015 Miss. State game.

I would say except for the Florida and Auburn game this year. I've hated watching our wins since 2011,and also 2009-2010 excluding Alabama game, and cotton bowl vs. Atm.

That whole 2004 season was hard to bear, starting with the sheer luck in that Oregon St. win. LSU was sloppy the whole year, and escaped against Florida, Troy, and a bad Ole Miss team at home, and was routed by Georgia (remember Xavier Carter)? The Capitol One bowl fiasco was a fitting end to that season.

Has there ever been a win you got absolutely no joy from?
nope...if we win, I enjoy it every single time.
That 2010 game against Tennessee was damn sure a frustrating one and I actually felt guilty for LSU winning as I walked out of the stadium.
As I thought about it the next day, I realized that both teams had really fricked things up, but Tennessee fricked up last, so I am good with that win.

Poor babies. Did that mean old LSU football team trigger micro aggressions in your safe space by applying their jock privilege thereby causing you to have a casual degradation of your self esteem?
You're so wise to draw so many conclusions based on a meaningless offseason thread meant to start a friendly discussion among fans.
Seriously just how big is that stick up your arse? It's funny how do nothing but call out people for being "miserable" and yet you're clearly the most miserable a'hole on this board. Get laid, fricker.

nick saban's last year. he had already "left" mentally. it's the single most reason I was glad he left. many forget that tho and want to compare miles to the saban at bama.

On another note, the arse whipping Georgia dispensed on us in 2004 was the most flawlessly executed game I've seen against LSU. They clearly penciled that game as the MUST win Saturday on their schedule that year, after we had beaten them twice the year before. Sometimes the cap need be tipped to an opponent... Georgia --and especially David Greene-- kicked our asses between the hedges that day. He was deadly accurate floating passes over our db's all damn afternoon.

The disparagement of the 2004 season has always struck me as irrational, a bit of revisionist history motivated largely by spite for Saban and misguided allegiance to Miles. We went 6-2 in the SEC that season, a better conference record than any of the past three years. To put that in perspective, since 2006, LSU has had a sum total of one season with a better regular season SEC record than 2004. One. 2011. By contrast, 2008, 2009, 2013, 2014, and 2015 all ended in worse SEC regular season records than the oft-maligned 2004.
