I'll tell you why...The same reason there are more black basketball players than white...Because they are just better at it.

Next time an opening occurs I would like to see Herm Edwards get an interview. I think his NFL experience as a player and coach would be invaluable, and he's very personable. He would likely be an excellent closer from a recruiting standpoint no matter the color of the household.

Didn't MLK want a world where color didn't matter? If so then why is it always about color? What does a mans skin color have to do with his ability to coach? If you look at the number of black assistants it is clear that there are plenty of candidates out there. Just none anyone wants as their head coach. That's not racist. It just means they need more experience. To interview or give away a job simply based on skin color is the most racist thing you could do.
