re: can we be realistic about coaching? - inebr8ted tiger
Maybe it's just wishful thinking. I'm ready for a change. I think Miles' best days are behind him. But I also thought Spurrier would fail at South Carolina....

can we be realistic about coaching? - inebr8ted tiger
I, for the life of me, cannot understand why Les Miles left Jordan Jefferson in the National Championship game. I don't understand what could have been more wrong with J. Lee in the game. What's the difference in losing 21-0 or 35-0? I, for the life of me, cannot understand why Les Miles left...

Are the other coaches complicit in the offensive stupidiy? - inebr8ted tiger
I'm just wondering if the offensive coordinator and QB coach, and receiver coach are in agreement with the decision to leave Jennings in the game so long...too long. As was the case with Jefferson in 2011. Did Miles just dictate such a decision?...

Prolly good advice. She's been a Tiger fan all of her life. She probably knows as much as I do about football, but more so the Tigers. I'm just so proud of her. I can't really put it into words....

I'm coming to Red Stick this weekend for the game. - inebr8ted tiger
My daughter, a senior at LSU suprised me with tickets yesterday. No pics. I shall be inebriated all day Saturday, and hopefully into Sunday. One of the proudest moments in my life was when she chose LSU. Now I'll get to stand in Tiger stadium with her...Holy Shit!...

re: Is LSU a better team for having played Wisconsin? - inebr8ted tiger
We were down 24-7 early in the second half. Instead of hanging our heads, we fought back and rallied to win. That's huge for our confidence, and it's an experience that I'm very grateful our team has.
Well said. Do you think that gives us a decided edge against Moo State so ea...

re: Is LSU a better team for having played Wisconsin? - inebr8ted tiger
If you get the W, in what way can you possibly say we shouldn't have
Well for starters, how about the injury to Ethan Pocic? I know that injuries can happen in any game. Secondly, scheduling the game would have to happen before we won the game in case you weren't aware of that....

Is LSU a better team for having played Wisconsin? - inebr8ted tiger
Just wondering if that game will benefit us enough to make a difference in two weeks versus Moo State. In the long run, with the playoff committee, we should get the nod before a team that played three cupcakes over the same period, but I can't see where it would make any significant difference...

re: I think Sam Houston is going to give us real problems. - inebr8ted tiger
I don't know whether to facedesk or laugh hysterically. Auburn couldn't do shite regardless of TOs and most of their yards were garbage time. Gimmick offenses are worthless against chavis/LSU. If you'd have paid attention to the past 2-3 years you'd know.
Seriously? You're the o...
Putting a mass murderer on the street is worth it, to make the racists among blacks feel good? Wow. I mean. . . frick, bro.
I was hoping I misunderstood his sentiment, but it appears I did not. But that statement is indicative of the majority of the black populous. I don't mean...

re: Did the black community actually think OJ was innocent - inebr8ted tiger
No, it was a symbolic victory over the heavy handed treatment the LAPD in the past. It was probably worth him being set free to move the city forward. LAPD has always had a terrible reputation for planting evidence, racial profiling and unethical behavior.
So you're saying that i...
What I just can't seem to figure is why is it that the "black" ( or other) community don't just do the right thing, be upstanding, honest citizens and therefore not put themselves in this position of alleged dis-apprpropriate treatment? Why aspire to alwayes be the victim.
I wan...

re: I think Sam Houston is going to give us real problems. - inebr8ted tiger
This just HAS to be a troll. I can't imagine a team in a worse position than Sam Houston is in. Seriously, Les Miles is probably gleeful right now. Instead of having to find a way to motivate his team, he has a ton of players (O-line, running backs minus Hilliard, defensive front 7) who are ...

re: I think Sam Houston is going to give us real problems. - inebr8ted tiger
You guys just don't get it. Sam Houston has been in the FBS championship game like 3 of the last four years. The only reason they haven't been able to win a championship is because they couldn't get by North Dakota State. I'm just saying they will not roll over....

I think Sam Houston is going to give us real problems. - inebr8ted tiger
I hope the team is not over looking this Sam Houston team. They are loaded. They are fast. And they will be motivated. They run an offensive scheme that historically gives LSU problems. With our inability to stop the run against Wisconsin, I suspect LSU will be caught off guard by Sam Houston's...

re: I think I was wrong about Anthony Jennings. - inebr8ted tiger
The fact that you had already made up your mind about him after only making 1 start was kinda silly. At least you apparently realize that though.
I think it was just the fear of knowing that we were losing one of the best QB's ever at LSU, and he was being replaced by a very young,...

I think I was wrong about Anthony Jennings. - inebr8ted tiger
I might have jumped the gun a little in judging Jennings ability to play quarterback for LSU. I guess my assumptions were based on the Iowa game last year. After watching the Wisconsin game again today, I think the coaches held him back a lot in the Iowa game. On Saturday night he was very accu...
