This may have been discussed earlier, but I wish LSU would have contacted ticket holders to find out if we wanted the refund. I personally would have declined the refund. It cost the university the same amount of money to set up, and clean up after the game as if it had been played to the end.

Why would someone down vote this? They want LSU to keep the money since LSU still had to pay all the staff and lost money on the game.

I guess the downvoter is jealous that some has the means and desire to be generous. To LSU.

Because some people will down vote anything. I actually sold my 4 tickets to the McNeese game to a guy on Craigslist. I was just wondering if most people had gotten their refund because I plan on giving him the refund when I get it.

I didn't but I will now because its an ignorant statement. Each and every person has the option to donate money to LSU Athletics at any point in the year. TO bitch about them returning money is stupid. If you want them to keep it then just give it back.

It would cost LSU money to setup a separate method for fans to choose that they do not want their money back idiots. Its already setup to where you can donate money.

First downvoter here. Hoping to one day achieve the means to hypothetically reject a refund.

It's great if you want to donate the refund back to the university. But another step shouldn't be added to the process of getting the refunds out as quickly as possible. It is a big undertaking.

Almost every action by the athletic department will be met by some with cynicism or anger. It is throwing away goodwill to send out an email saying your refund is being processed, but we can keep it if you'd like.

I don't know why you got a down vote, but the refund is the cost of doing business. you sell a product, and it's not delivered, you are due a refund.

Still no refund for me, either. Just checked my credit card online and there's no refund and nothing pending.

Suck it up tightwad. Consider it a donation and get over it.

I feel like they are probably credited to the ticket holders account and then to the card of anyone who purchased from the market place. I know we haven't gotten ours yet so I guess maybe it will be a credit towards next years ticket dues.

I donate enough to LSU without them keeping the face value of these tickets. The "required" contribution is not being refunded. It's not much of a contribution since it's REQUIRED. Yes, I want the face value of my tickets refunded

Nope, but I paid via ACH and not Credit Card. So no telling when I will supposedly receive a check?

I finally received my refund today. Even though I paid with a credit card, a check was mailed to me. Over a month later than LSU stated in a press release, but at least I have it now. Hope no one else is still waiting.
