The part when he said he cried after the Outback Bowl shows just how much LSU and the players mean to him.

Excellent read. I just wish the defense wouldn't have had a down year last year. Adding Cam has been an amazing improvement.

This may indeed be the case. I am hoping this year we get the TE's more involved and then I will give him the nod over Pat P. for the best recruit ever under miles.

Let that sink in...

Yeah Cam has been great so far but I would not put him over a guy like John Chavis. Chavis has just done so much since he has been here so to say Cam is better for the tigers than him I'm not so sure but I would take a great Defense over Offense. But it could come to prove we have both.

D was down but honestly I think we maximized with best we had. I think the draft killed us last year but watching that bowl game made me realize that the d was young and inexperienced more than anything.

Yea, I'll give that to Chavis. LSU really has the top two coordinators in the game.

Good read. What a major hire that really was.

We as LSU fans are very fortunate to have 2 great coordinators...hope we can keep them for 3 to 4 more. Could make a serious run in '15 & '16

He'll get em right and that's why I'm not worried like others. We'll be a top 50 offense as long as he is here. I could see a top 10 offense for 2015-2016 coupled with a ridiculous defense.

Sadly.. we were a few key players (early draft entrees) from being national champion good last season.

That didn't happen merely because Cameron was one of the first LSU coaches ever to discover there's no NCAA rule prohibiting teams from throwing the ball downfield more than 15 yards.

Put together the 2011 defense with the 2013 offense.

Great write up. If we can keep Cam and Chavis together for a few years, I have a hard time believing we don't pick up another natty.

Yep, for years we've been saying what if we could just have even an average (passing threat)offense matched up with our nasty defense. Almost had it last year except the defense got raided by the nfl. Cam rebuilt the offense in one year, just like Chavis did for the defense.

Next year, we'll be better on Defense but breaking in a new QB. Just gotta put it all together at the same time and enjoy the show.
