meh. remains to be seen for me. if his initial comments are accurate i can't agree with you. maybe he's crawfishing now. if indeed, he was misquoted i stand incorrect but he would have to have been completely misquoted.

This is laughable. Slow media week and they blew it up into a story. I know and played for the man so you can say all that you'd like about how you feel about this, I'm just telling you that you are wrong.
there is no way they took a whole paragraph of shite he said out of context....not that I really care.....and don't talk about our fans on this board being delusional , if you want delusional just stick to tcu boards....

This.

LSU will win handily and Hill won't even play a down.

This is all overblown.

Yup.

“My whole team would vote Devonte to be back on the team because they all want to win,” Patterson told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “That doesn't teach life lessons.” -Class Act Gary on Les not caring about teaching life lessons to his players/only caring about winning/lacking big-picture integrity.

Patterson also intimated that the reason Miles didn't suspend Hill was because LSU is facing TCU and not some FCS school.

“I'm sure if it was some opponent they'd beat by 100 points [the players] wouldn't have a vote," Patterson said. "It's not my worry. I've got to play whoever they put on the field.” -High-horse Gary P. on Les Miles' selective integrity.

What's really dumb about all of this is (1) yes, LSU is going to poster-board this a few weeks before the game, and (2) it's about a running back. As if Hill, or Blue, or the ghost of Rondell Mealey, or the ghost of that girl Cecil Collins touched couldn't do the same damage. It's not like we lost a fricking lineman.

No issues with Ciach Patterson here. If we weren't LSU fans we might fell differently about Hill's reinstatement. The kid better check himself or prison may be in his future. The media loves to drum up anti-LSU sentiment.

This is solid.

TCU coach is asked, responds, then crawfishes. He doesn't care what LSU does with Hill.

LSU fans defend Hill and take offense to TCU coach's remarks.

Media loves a controversy.

Hill has now plead guilty to 2 crimes at age of 19. Both involving other individuals.

If I'm 19 years old and have been drinking and a white boy calls me a **** when I'm walkin to my car, I'm throwin. 20 years later not so much. I dont go to bars anymore or fight for that matter. Aint worth it, but you cant tell a kid that. Aint no dumbass frat boy worth knockin out or goin to jail over. Even after his woman comes home with me.

Since this is totally what happened.

Can we stop trying to rationalize what happened and just say he made a mistake, he's been worked through the legal system and we can forget about the actual incident?

I didn't care about his original comments, but now he just sounds like a giant tool. The only thing in the original article that offended me was him not thinking our team could beat his team by 100 points.

Are you saying this is what happened to Hill?

When you were 19 did you have white boys with you saying frick that a-hole? Black boys telling you to frick that a-hole? White boys telling you to knock him out? Black boys telling you to knock him out?

20 years gives perspective for sure, but if we don't teach our kids right/wrong regardless of race then we're going to have this same discussion 20 years from now.

Not sure this is necessary. I've - unfortunately - gone home with another man's woman in the past. I don't feel proud. If this is something that you think makes you a man, then grow the frick up.

My white friends talked massive stuff when we were goin home. All of my black friends wanted to fight when they heard the N WORD. I usually heald them back and just wanted to bang sorority chicks comin out of Freds. I'm assuming the TCU chicks will be just as easy in Dallas?
