He contradicts himself I don't know how many times. He is a fool and should be regarded as one.

He threw some shite against the wall and it stuck via the media.

Google "Patterson les miles" and see how many hits you get. It's a national story and now he tried to weasel his way out of what he said.

This is laughable. Slow media week and they blew it up into a story. I know and played for the man so you can say all that you'd like about how you feel about this, I'm just telling you that you are wrong.

I'm not going to make sweeping statements about Patterson but he was a fool yesterday and instead of owning it straight up lied today. That much isn't even debatable.

Is he as much of family man and father figure to the players as he is believed to be by the TCU fans? I have always seen him as a somewhat rigid but compassionate coach who wants the best from and for everyone around him.

... except it is, because if you know the guy, then you'd understand what happened. Y'all are looking at it through your lenses, and I understand that. I'm just telling you the God-honest truth of the matter. Take it or leave it.

That I am. Lenses as in my eyes. I can read what he said. He most certainly was talking about lsu. If you are seriously trying to deny that I can see I'm wasting my time.

Patterson brought up the incident Thursday to clarify that he had no “intention at all of spiting anybody or making anybody look bad.”

“I’m not Babe Ruth. I don’t point at fences,” he said. “Most of the time I play below the water. Anybody who knows me knows that’s way outside of character so why would I do it now? Why would I call up the Tiger? They don’t need anymore help.”

Now that's fricking funny.

I believe Patterson realized, just a little too late, that Les can go into several different modes.
Sometimes it seems like he thinks the Tigers have got it, and he kinda relaxes a bit, and you see some serious chinks in the armor (maybe Clemson, maybe even the rematch in Nola against a Bama team they'd already beaten at home, and almost certainly the end of the UNC game and the lackluster games against Towson etc).

I believe that's what Patterson was hoping for, initially.

But then there's that other mode, when the team is questioned or under fire, and Lesticles rears back and unleashes his "damn strong team" (Oregon. Ohio State. Notre Dame. Bama at Tuscaloosa in '11, and for that matter here last season <even in a loss>. Many other big games... hell, even the Chick Fil A game against Ga Tech when all the media had written us off as done and mediocrity-bound).

Patterson, I think, realized he "has called up the Tiger", to use his own words.

Yeah, with Patterson's help and now he wants to play Mr. Innocent.

Instead of manning up and admitting he fricked up, he now wants to do as you are doing and blame the media for his screw up.

The media didn't make him answer the question as he did. That's on him.

I havent reacted much to this story yet because frankly, I didnt much care about his original comments. I thought it was stupid of him to say, of course. But now he tries to tell us he didnt say what he said? frick this guy, I hope Les doesnt call off the dogs til the end of the game.

The media has blown this waaaaaayyyyy out of proportion. Only Kornheiser on PTI said Les will still decide on how much more discipline Jhill faces after the team vote. Les has said all along he is the ultimate disciplinarian and there will be more to come. Hill wont play vs TCU and we wont need him. That being said the national media hasnt watched the entire video where the whiteboy uses the n word. Might have been a cheap arse sucker punch, but if the media, and Patterson do their homework, Hill is semi-justified compared to Cooper Riley.

So using a racial slur is equal to an 18 year old on criminal probation for getting head from a 14 year old girl - then sucker punching and getting more criminal probation.

I'm no racist, but if you can't see the difference, I don't know what to say.

See the difference? I dont care how drunk a white boy is, if he calls me a **** I'm gonna knock his arse out. Moreso after drinking. JHill's boy should have held the boy up so he could be hit again. DONT CALL BLACK PEOPLE ****S!!! Watch the tape JHill's lawyer produced for the court. Jhill should knock out Cooper too.

Doesn't surprise me. It was out of character and really would be stupid to poke a tiger. No bad blood between schools why create some. If you have ever been interviewed for a story then you know that they misquote shite all the time.

This solves nothing.

I'm not looking to solve race relations with anything I post. But I've been on every side of this issue in my life. Sometimes people need to grow up - if it isn't him, then it's you.
