Most Tiger fans forget that LSU lost to ARK that season on a similar play. Remember?

It was a running play, there was no kicker. I think he was run down by a receiver.

One of the biggest sighs of relief Tiger Stadium has ever let out.

1994- Eddie kennison vs moo st- caught the punt inside the 10, ran backwards into the endzone, then ran 100 yrds for a TD

Or the def lineman that kicked the Tulane offensive lineman in the butt after PAT and started bench-clearing brawl.

I was a student. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was a backup lineman, and after he kicked him he ran with the Tulane guy chasing him through the brawling players. It was hilarious. Wasn't that the game in which Eric Martin scored the "rub it in" TD and that set off the brawl?

1- Brad Wing returns a punt and gets robbed of a TD against Florida.
He got what he deserved. He violated a rule. He robbed his teammates of 6 points.

This was the ONLY time it was called all year. Now that was not deserved.........

I have a funny one that always comes to mind...but it didn't turn out well for LSU

I always remember that Monday Night game we lost against Tennessee when (freshman WR) JoJo Lafell caught, bobbled, and threw the ball into the UT defender's hands on Tenn's 15 yard line.

I still laugh about that play, because people bitched about how he would never make it because he had terrible hands....now look where he's at

FROM ARKANSAS PERSPECTIVE:

1)Rahim Alem, DE: His "beautiful PUNT" after LSU D holds on 3rd down (allows Arkansas' winning TD drive).

2)Carnell Hatcher, FS: His "bone-jarring TACKLE of Mo Claiborne" proves that the refs don't anyway call penalties (12 men on the field).

p.s. DIE ARKY DIE!

was that not against Auburn in 07, or did he do it twice?

damn, now you have me questioning it....I could very well be wrong. Looking back, it was a small moment in LSU history.

Wasn't it Lafell that was open by about 20 yards in every direction for a deep ball and he stopped turned around the ball hit him square in the chest and somehow he threw it over his head when he was trying to catch it.

Yes it was Lafell when he was a freshman. That was seriously funny.

Rules used to require that, to stop the clock during 2-minute drill, instead of "spiking" as QBs do now, you had to actually throw an incomplete pass toward a receiver to avoid getting called for grounding. Usually it was done by throwing straight to the sideline over the receiver's head. I seem to recall once when Ensminger was QB, he did just that...only to realize it was 4th down! Crowd couldn't believe it.
