Ok then, add two more to that and then maybe a few more on top of that... It still doesn't add up.

So who's the idiot?

You want em to have 100 yds a piece so you could say Yikes about LSUs run defense? . It's just a double edged sword your dealing with. Says a lot about LSUs stout run D.

That would be you for even paying attention to situational scrimmage stats.

Clearly you care or you wouldn't be in this thread titled "Full Scrimmage Stats" or correcting someone you disagreed with on these "situational scrimmage stats".

im not sure if i would call it a surprise or not but im super excited to see K'Lavon is living up to the potential so far. if he is the player we hope he will be it will be huge for LSU this season

Star pass rushers usually peak their sophomore year. (Key, Mingo, Clowney, Myles Garrett) I'm expecting a special year this year from Chaisson.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Rushing
• Chris Curry, 16 carries, 43 yards

• Nick Brossette, 10 carries, 36 yards

• Clyde Edwards-Helaire, 9 carries, 17 yards

you don't know the details about what they were doing in the scrimmage that ended with so few yards

for one if you look at the numbers you have 50 passing attempts to 35 rushes, seems like a lot of short yardage runs

there is also devin white in the middle

alabama and auburn and miss state are better than us front 7

We haven't played a single game.

It's mind boggling the panic from a scrimmage. Had the offense done well the meltdown would be about the defense.

Yes and that's assuming that the stats are even accurate. Scrimmage stats aren't going to tell the story of the season, much less the first one after only a handful of practices.

At this point the kicker is the only one that matters

On the other hand it’s brossette that never amasses more than 4 ypc

Do you know how to google? Or are you one of those guys who thinks because it popped in your head it must be true? FYI. He’s averaging 6.7 YPC in 46 carries at LSU. Just hasn’t seen much plying time. And he’s the only guy with more than 3 YPC in this scrimmage

ETA: scrimmage numbers should be taken with a grain of salt.

I’ll be honest, based on last season I’ve been really underestimating K’Lavon... I was pleasantly surprised by his performance in the spring game and haven’t heard anything to tell otherwise: I think we’ve got someone as good as Key replacing him!
that's who stood out to me also.

Am I the only one that’s noticed the receiving yards don’t match the passing yards?

the favorite offseason quote

look at the top teams in the country and their RB's then look at ours

You need talented RBs. But, with that stat line, you are a fool if you think the story is about the RB.

Scrimmage rushing stats should be taken with a grain of salt. So much is situational. Short yardage & goal line situations are popular in this setting, leaving not many yards to be had.

Also our D is really good, and it was rainy & wet

The man in your avatar said himself the OL sucked today.
