Not surprised by anything in particular. First scrimmage, new offense, new players, new running game. Defense should dominate early and will only make offense better.

The RB ypc coupled with the D front 7 sacks/qb hurries and TFL tells you everything you need to know. At this point, the RB debate is inconsequential

Well if their O-line sucked as bad as O said it did then what were the RBs supposed to do? .. throughout the history of football, the RB is only as good as his offensive line. Even the great Fournette and Guice didn't do shite against teams like Alabama cause their O-line got manhandled. So pretty much the Oline is going to have to step up for those RBs to be serviceable.

The King-Lord still can't accurately throw a football with any consistency.

6/14 will not cut it. (Oh yeah, I know I know I know. It's only the first scrimmage. )

He'd be more useful at Running Back. Make the move.

Maybe
But maybe our defense is that good right now against the run.

I'm bored and watching the OU TTU game from 2016(the one Mahomes had 800+ yards total) and fehoko really stands out.

Guy can definitely penetrate(got a 4th down stop) and moves well for his size. That defense sucked balls but it certainly wasn't due to him.

Giles will impress as well

JM had the highest completion percentage, but I'm sure you'll find a way to make him look worse than whoever your King-Lord is as I'm sure is neither JM or LN.

LN seems to only have one main issue at this point and it is timing and ball placement. It can use some work, but you act like the other QB's outshined him. None of us know what situations and units helped or hurt these guys more as far as stats go. We all know that JB will start the season, but if LN starts consistently dropping the ball in the right locations, can't see us not playing him more and more as the season goes.

Remember, this offense will be a PASS FIRST offense not what we used to run.

I'd like to see the QB spread, as in where they threw it and who did they throw it to.

we already knew Narcisse was the least accurate of the bunch, but we also know he has the strongest arm of the 4, as evident from the stat lines.

shite down”

Noting the lack of star power, at this time in their careers, does not equate to “shite down” the current crop of RBs. It’s simply the current state of affairs facing LSU.

Personally, I’d rather have a Juice type running back than the ones we currently have. I don’t believe that’s disrespecting them, it’s simply acknowledging the talent that we have had at RB in the last few seasons as opposed to what we appear to have this season.
