I'd love to see jimbo take over.
Tomorrow, next year, 5 years whichever.

I'm curious if you would say the same about Urban Meyer & Mark Dantonio. The B1G is pretty lackluster besides those two programs. Would you turn your nose at either one of those coaches?

I'd have about the same attitude towards Dantonio that I have towards Fisher... I doubt he'd have the same success if Penn State hadn't been placed on probation and if Michigan and Nebraska started being Michigan and Nebraska.

Urban Meyer has proven he can be extremely successful at the most competitive level of college football... he made a smart decision to make the move to a conference where Ohio State has no equal.

Literally any coach in our division would be able to replicate those results

1) he won all the games
2) have you met LSU's current coach? he tends to have highly rated QBs and well... yeah. and I'm not a Les basher by any stretch.

I wouldn't be breaking my TV if Jimbo was announced as LSU's next HC, but I wouldn't be breaking out the chardonnay, either.

Regardless of how many rings he has, any coach would need to prove his worth.

Jimbo is in BR right now. I'd imagine recruiting but it doesn't seem like a good time with LSUs huge camp having most of the prospects occupied

I don't see why not. Harbaugh left a successful stint in the NFL to go to Michigan.

Fisher gets paid a premium, but the pay scale for his staff isn't what it would be at LSU, the facilities are second tier, and he's previously said that LSU is a dream job.

Not saying it will happen, but I could see him coming back to BR if Les stepped down after winning his third national title in 2017.

I spoke with Jimbo recently in Tallahassee. He has very, very high opinions of LSU, BR, and his time at LSU.

Harbaugh ended up at Michigan because he didn't get along with Jed York (49ers owner) Trent Baalke (49ers GM). Somebody had to go so Harbaugh was shown the door.

Just a collection of low-character guys... even if JR wasn't until after college.

No of those guys were low character coming out of high school. DeAndre seriously just had a slip in judgement. Winston is a goofball that does petty stuff. Russell started doing bad after he lost most of his family support close to each other.

You are also stupid as hell go think we wouldn't go after Perriloux.

Everybody else offered these guys, and they would have likely had the same problems as well. You forget Winston was offered by Notre Dame and Stanford as well.

Jimbo was OC when I was at LSU...he was unbelievable in meetings and drawing plays up.

And I also know that Jimbo would love to be back in the SEC
