Any suggestions on how to keep the big men out of it in the first half?

Sit them! Surely they can't commit a foul on the bench can they? Let's start Eddlestone and Darcy on the block with Henry running the point. Also is there any 7' band members this year?

Now that's a good ideaaa!

Can't do too much besides sitting them more. These college refs will give Victor his automatic 2 fouls for being in perfect position with his arms straight up like they do every other game.

I think Craig gets called for more cheap foul than anyone I've seen. That must be because they can't call fouls on Ben.
Anyone I would say keep SC from going in the lane and allow them to shoot the 3. Notice and carrera are the only ones I'd worry from 3.

The reffing this year has been insufferable.
Touch fouls do not make the game more fun, contrary to the NCAA's belief

This team is going to have to play defense with their feet. If they continue to try and defend with their hands, the swatting is going to get called all night.

It might be a good game to bring Bridgewater back for 5+ minutes and give Epps a little early time as well.

You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
You know I try but I don't do too well with apologies
I hope I don't run out of time, could someone call a referee?

I mean Victor has had a ton of fouls this year where he was in absolutely perfect position

I'd first start by letting the game be played at least before you make a post about foul trouble in the game.
It's a pretty big key to the game for us. Derp

Carrera is the flop king. I am in the process of mentally preparing myself for the worst.

We have to get Carrera in foul trouble before he gets us in foul trouble! It's the only way!

Probably , but I don't think it requires all caps and exclamation points just yet

Yes.
1. The guards have to bust their asses on the perimeter to make it difficult for USC to get the ball in the post. A lot of LSU's defensive woes start with the fact that they let the ball get inside too easily. Once the ball gets inside to a guy with good position, there's not much the defensive player can do other that stand still with his hands straight up. Simmons does a good job at that. Victor not so much. Playing good perimeter will help out the inside guys.
2. Simmons has to play with discretion in trying to get steals. That's where a lot of his unnecessary fouls occur. He's a much better defender than people give him credit for. No need to take chances in the first half and pick up ticky-tack reach-in fouls.
The other big men are really just lost causes on D. Malone and Robinson are generally just too slow to guard smaller big men and find themselves in bad position. Epps is athletic enough, but he always seems to be lost on D, thus putting himself in bad position. You just hope those guys can foul without giving up "and 1's"
