"1. The guards have to bust their asses on the perimeter to make it difficult for USC to get the ball in the post. A lot of LSU's defensive woes start with the fact that they let the ball get inside too easily. Once the ball gets inside to a guy with good position, there's not much the defensive player can do other that stand still with his hands straight up. Simmons does a good job at that. Victor not so much. Playing good perimeter will help out the inside guys."
you're on to something, if the guards do that and play strong, and not timid with the ball in their hands and turning it over, and shot with confidence, the bigs don't usually go into panick mode and pick up unnecssary fouls. Besides, on defense the guards can be aggressive, because foul trouble does hurt as bad with a couple of good guard back-ups on the bench

IMO it's the only way lose if BS or CV don't play 35 mins. SC very beatable and don't match up with our guards . Contenders or Pretenders we will know tonite

I do think we're the better, more talented team.
But the game is there, where they haven't lost and they play with a consistent toughness I would love for this Tiger team to be able to consistently replicate. If we did we'd really be tough to handle.
This would be a good one to get tonight. Geaux Tigers!!

I watched Ole Miss get hosed by the refs last night in Florida. Same place where LSU had the same thing happen to them. So, it can happen. This is the SEC.

The SEC is so predictable it sometimes takes the fun out of it, doesn't it? Lol
