Don't get me wrong Ware is an animal and crushes people but am I the only one that would rather have Ford getting 20 carries a game and Ware getting 10 opposed to our current Ware-20 Ford-10? I understand you don't fix what's not broken but I think Ford has earned at least an opportunity to show what he can do as the teams primary back.

Fords success has alot to do with what Ware does to team. He beats teams inside and then Ware takes advantage of them on the edges. They compliment each other.

Ford has more speed and better Vision. They do compliment each other well. I do agree that Ford has earned more touches IMO.

Disagree. This team has the pound and ground identity and that's what it should stick with.

However, when Ford comes in for a change of pace he kills with his speed. He needs to get more carries, especially in the 4th quarter.

Ford needed to be the primary back in the Bama game....Nothing was going up the middle against their line but day in day out Ware gets the nod. I was extremely disappointed that it took us so long to figure out we could run on the outside.

They compliment each other very well.

Some faster teams might be able to shut the horizontal runs and not stop the vertical runs.

They are needed as a pair just like Lee/JJ is needed.

I was surprised we didnt throw more screens and dump passes to Ford when they were constantly bring people up the middle.

TR seemed to pick our blitzes just fine and yet burned the defense for huge gains

I understand they compliment each other very well and that's why I still think Ware should get at least 10 touches a game, but Ford has been huge every time he has gotten the ball. Also with our OT's (Hurst and Faulk) and Ford's combo of strength, speed and vision we can run the ball against absolutely anyone in the country with great success on the edges.

I would be one of the "us". Although I was a bigger fan of Ridley over Ford than I am of Ware over Ford.

Ford is a threat to score on every carry

Ware is a bull, but isn't getting to the edge quickly

Why the hell does it matter who is the primary back when we have a plethoral of good backs? Same with this qb bs, why does it matter who the starter is when they are both going to play and they both know how to win, and with our great special teams and defense. Damn the tards are out in full force today.

It seems we only use Ford when he's absolutley needed. You don't see him in blowout games much. But you see him in big games. Maybe Miles is keeping him fresh for the big games? He is the biggest playmaker we have at RB. Don't get me wrong I love Ware, he'll run right over you, but Ford if the home run threat.

This is Scott/Williams all over again. Look, our backs don't get the same carries. They don't even get the same kind of carries. You cannot compare the way you are trying to.

Because the way Ford played in that 4th quarter it's not crazy by any means to think he could have moved the ball much more effectively than Ware did, leading to TD's and not having to depend on the Alabama kickers to miss FG's.
