Disagree. This team has the pound and ground identity and that's what it should stick with.

However, when Ford comes in for a change of pace he kills with his speed. He needs to get more carries, especially in the 4th quarter.

I disagree. Miles wants to pound the middle then use Ford to get outside. Ford has been underutilized IMO, but using both is necessary. Ford should get more carries but Ware should still be the primary back.

Ware has more ability than he has shown, unfortunately for him, simply because he is used to pound the middle of the line and it's tough ydg. He can do more, has done more. They have both been reduced to role players though

Seems pretty obvious that Ford is going to be the guy for the JJ package and Ware will get the majority of the snaps with Lee

Ford is better on option plays because of his speed on the edge

I would be one of the "us". Although I was a bigger fan of Ridley over Ford than I am of Ware over Ford.

I wasn't. I liked Ridley running as well but his knock was that 'finishing' gear and all that bs.

I have been wanting to see Ford run the ball 20 times a game since last year.

I was the same cheerleader for KW after the VT game.

My main point I was trying to get across.

I agree but Ford has shown what kind of ability he has and I honestly think it he would have ran the ball 20 times against Bama we would have gotten a TD on the board. NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT THE GAME, A WIN IS A WIN. And that was an epic battle. But I feel like we can all agree that the best 2 best defenses in the country against the run are LSU and Bama and I want to show the production of the 4 backs in this game.

Ware 16 carries for 29 yards 1.8 YPCBama's ILB's are extremely talented so it should be noted it is much harder to run between the tackles then stretch it to the outside against Bama
Ford 11 carries for 72 yards 6.5 YPC Also was extremely close in OT to taking the pitch to the house which would have givin him around 80 yards and a TD

Richardson 23 carries 89 yards 3.9 YPC Should be noted that he also had 80 yards recieving
Lacy 5 carries for 19 yards 3.8 YPC Also he had a 20 yard carry so besides that 1 run, LSU did a tremendous job of shutting him down

So if you switch Ford and Ware's carries, based on YPC Ford would have went for 105 (104.5 but i rounded up) yards.
