Although I didn't want to hire O, our team did look WAY better on offense and even better on D when he took over. He blew out Ole Miss and beat them worse than Miles had ever beaten them in Tiger Stadium (Miles had never beaten them by more than 7 in Tiger Stadium). He blew out Arkansas at Arkansas where Miles had a losing record and never had beaten them by more than a TD (we also were shut out 17-0 the previous time there and lost by 17 to them in Tiger Stadium the previous year). They also put 54 on the Aggies while easily beating them after struggling to score and beat them the previous two years. And of course, they looked excellent in the bowl game. So those things were very reassuring.

The Florida game was his big flop. Extremely disappointing to lose to them, but it's not like we didn't move the ball. We basically gave it away, but still that was a big strike to lose to them after all of the BS. Bama is Bama and LSU played really good and had a chance. You can't do much against Bama if you're extremely limited passing and Etling really struggled. Overall, O did a really good job considering the circumstances.

Miles had his job saved and promised a change. Nothing changed and he was fired. So that's why I doubt he'd change much.

We ran up the middle three times to end the game from inside the 5 yard line, pretty sure Miles would have done the same.

except, you know, the pressure to land the job full time. No pressure besides that.
