Why would anyone bother. You have no concept of what you are carrying on about.

So you are predicting a perfect season next year with RP. Man I can't wait for the kickoff.

Don't be ridiculous, there never has been a perfect quarterback in the history of the game. Nevertheless, I'm expecting RP to be more productive than MF is this year, which if you look at MF's numbers, isn't going to be very difficult to accomplish.

did you miss the Auburn game?

Oh wow, he fumbles once now his entire career goes down the drain. Dude...I hate to remind you but everybody who handles the ball fumbles. By the way, how many interceptions did MF throw yesterday? How about for the season? How about touchdowns to interceptions ratio? Give me a break!

Would not trade him for any on your list at this point. His team play is outstanding.

Yeah…Flynn is doing great, per the ncaa, out of the top 100 quarterbacks in the country, Flynn is ranked a whopping 74th. His passing percentage is 55.56 percent; he’s thrown 8 interceptions in 8 games, with just 11 touchdowns, and his QB rating is 122.

He isn’t Tim Tebow who ranks number 1 out of the top 100 quarterbacks in the country. Tebow’s passing percentage is 67.71 percent, he’s thrown 4 interceptions in 9 games, with a whopping 21 touchdowns, and his QB rating is 179.1

There comes a time when, especially after 9 games, that one must call a spade a spade. Am I’m I glad it turned out this way; no one wished and hoped that Flynn would live up to his billing more than I. Nevertheless, living in the denial and being delusional is not my style!

Flynn is best at throwing the ball down field. Bama was crowding the line of scrimmage the entire game in order to stop the run, and we almost never threw more than 10 yard passes which were double and triple covered.

Only after falling behind by 10 points did we finally start going down field and Flynn started to bring us back.

For some reason, Crowton waited for Bama to score 24 unanswered point before starting to take advantage of single coverage down the field.

We need to take advantage of our great WRs and throw more down feild against single coverage. When we do that, Flynn will start preforming like an elite QB.

I was referring to the shitty way he handled the pressure on his lone pass attempt based on your assertion that...

quote:

RP can feel the rush and has a natural penchant to escape, while Flynn feels the pressure, loses his poise, clamors up, and either gets sacked or throws an interception

17-35, 130 yards passing against UK.
Most of that was Lafell

we've taken our fair share of shots down the field with flynn at qb...i can think of 2 right now when flynn has misfired on deep balls...the long ball thrown to lafell in the kentucky game that was intercepted (and underthrown by 10 yards) and the one this last weekend in the bama game to byrd that was off target by about 15 yards...

flynn doesn't exactly have the precision on long-balls to be considered an "elite qb"

I'd take Flynn over most QB's in the SEC.

The ONLY QB that I would take over MF is Tebow - and I like MF's attitude better.

I'd take Flynn over all of those except for Woodson and Tebow.

Ranking Woodson 6th says all that needs to be said about your ability to assess QB play. Nothing further needs to be said.

jr did have some matt flynn days too

True dat.

It wasn't until about this point in the season last year that JR became a good QB.

Before that, he was not nearly as good as MF has been.

When you talk about "precision" on long balls (or short balls for that matter) you must really think that JR sucked.

How many sure-fire TDs were lost last year because of severly overthrown balls?

Allow me to jack this thread for a sec'. When i got i my truck yesterday, there was a Raiders Scout spewing about how outta shape Jamarcus showed up to camp. He also sais Jamarcus lacks work ethic and does not study the offense like he should. He concluded by saying that Jamarcus is just sitting on his butt, enjoying his money. I was suprised the guy was ripping him so hard.

Don't think this guy was a top 6 QB his Jr. year, and what did he do his last game?

"It's 2010, what has Teh Rant learned chillrens?"

quote:

Anyway in the SEC I would rather have these 6 quarterbacks.

1. Tim Tebow
2. Erik Ainge
3. Stafford
4. John Parker Wilson
5. Brandon Cox
6. Andre Woodson

Say what you want about cox and wilson but they would do just as good if not better than flynn if they were the qb at LSU.
