What game sticks out in your memory as the most heartbreaking loss for LSU? Or just the first loss that really sticks out.

I remember watching games as far back as the 1997 Florida game (I was born in 1993, so it's a bit faded ), 2001 Sugar Bowl, Bluegrass Miracle, 2003 NC, etc.

But I have no recollection of any loss or heartbreak before the 2006 Auburn game. Something about 7-3, four yards away, and the pass-interference call that wasn't will stick in my memory forever. It'll make Saturday night that much sweeter

Oh and of course most devastating will always be 2012 BCSNC...

2006 Auburn game.

The 2007 Arkansas game. Thought our chance for a national championship was completely gone.

to me this wasn't as heartbreaking as it was infuriating. Usually after a loss I feel depressed for the rest of the day and maybe the next. That game just pissed me off for a month.

shiiiiiit:

LSU-Connecticut (basketball) in 2006. We had a nice lead and blew it in the end.

LSU-Iowa

LSU-Kentucky 2007

LSU-Arkansas 2007

those 4 stand out to me above all other losses.

Heartbreaking?

1/9

Not because it was suspenseful in any way, shape or form. But because of the build up, the second chance given to our opponent and the result.

I've never been more butthurt about a game's result than that, and probably will never be again.

I was in Little Rock for the LSU-Arkansas game in 2002. Whoever won got to go to the SECCG. We were 2 hail Mary's from winnin that game. Damn you Nick Saban and your prevent defense.

none worse than this

Also 2007 Arky...all national title hopes down the drain (or so we thought)

those two stick out to me as being the most heartbreaking...both were like losing close relatives

1994 Auburn fricked me up for a couple weeks.

In fact, Curley said that it was a 'deflating' loss.

I agree. That was the loss that deflated his career.

2012 Cship wasn't heartbreaking like a close loss would be. Dunno why.

That was the game that struck in my mind first. I was so pissed after that game. A blown trip to the SECCG.
The Iowa game I was at the stands in front of the Iowa receiver who caught the ball at the last second. I just could not believe it.
