Honestly, I am over the NCG it was a tough one to be at, but looking back on it that season was magical and we just ran out of gas.

Back on topic, the 2006 Auburn game was a tough one, we had every chance to win but we either shot ourslef in the foot or the zebras screwed us. The 09 Arkansas game was equally rough, we were the unluckiest team that day.

2012 BCS National Cahmpionship Game. Spent 5 grand on airline, hotel, food rental car and game tickets. My son and daughters first LSU and we get our arse kicked by Bama. As we leave the stadium some of them are in the crowd talking shite about my sons number 7 jersey. I would have given 5 years off my life to catch that weak frickng a-hole. I already hated Bama but now my kids hate them as much as I do.
That loss will stick with me forever.

First heartbreaking LSU loss was actually basketball. The very first sports team I ever followed was the 1980-81 LSU basketball team that went to the Final Four. When they went ice cold and lost to Indiana, I cried. I was in the 5th grade at the time.

First was Tulane. We already had orange bowl bid. 5 TD favorite and lost in the rain by 3

Speaking of Tulane, who was at the 1973 14-0 loss at Tulane Stadium that ended .

Speaking of Tulane, was anybody on here at the 1973 14-0 loss at Tulane Stadium that ended LSU's 25 year win streak?

Most intense and heartbreaking loss in Tiger Stadium was the 79 USC game though and it's not even close.

1993 at Auburn when LSU blew it with all the int's.

2005 Tennessee

Surprisingly, the BCS game against Alabama doesn't bother me too much.

I was in Little Rock for the LSU-Arkansas game in 2002. Whoever won got to go to the SECCG. We were 2 hail Mary's from winnin that game. Damn you Nick Saban and your prevent defense.

This was the 1st football game I was pissed-off after a loss. But there were many basketball games before this that had me

Posted by siliconvalleytiger The most devastating was the 2002 loss to Arky. Matt Jones couldn't hit the side of a barn that entire game and all of a sudden, brings them home with the GW drive.

Didn't actually bother me much. LSU was not good in 2002 post-Mauck and had already been stomped by AU and Bama. Georgia wouldve waxed us anyway.

The BCS loss to Bama doesn't bother me as much either bc I've never acknowledged the legitimacy of Bama being there. The matchup was a farce.

The 87 Sugar Bowl. LSU scored on the first drive which pissed off Nebraska, and the Huskers scored 30 unanswered points. It was that game that I grew to hate not only the option, but Nebraska as well. LSU couldn't stop the option at all that day.

That was a great LSU team, too. First one to win an SEC Championship in quite some time.

It also had the feel of the Cap One Bowl against Iowa, since it was 2 for 1 loss special - we lost the game and we lost a great coach.

Of course 1/9 was the most painful but we knew LSU's fate for a while in that game. The Arkansas game had us once again thinking LSU would pull it out. There were so many great plays we'll forget forever because LSU ultimately lost. The 4th down TD Flynn threw to keep the season alive is one. Of course there was Hillis's dreaded TD on 4th and 10. Overall it was so devastating to see LSU fall that day.

But on the bright side God stepped in a week later and straightened things out.
