Current LSU fans are pussies. Los Angeles traffic is brutal every day, yet people go to work. LSU “fans” bitch about traffic 8 days a year for something they love supposedly. Idiots.

It was hot AF yesterday, and many of us already spent all day either mowing grass or coaching Pee Wee football.

I had an offer for 5 good tix plus parking pass for NSU game. Turned it down. More enjoyable to watch from recliner on 75" in A/C under ceiling fan.

I have been to games in shite Bend. That traffic is nothing like BR.

I only go to big games.

I actually think thats a mis-characterization and its actually a good idea.

1. No one forces you to download the app. Any student is free to not do it. Its not a requirement and its not big brother.
2. Staying to the fourth quarter, with the app tracking you there, gives you additional loyalty points, which allows you to be higher on the list for things like post-season tickets as a student. Why wouldn't you want to reward your most die-hard students who stay the whole game?

LSU Top Tier status/Tejas kids that didn't grow up as lifelong Tiger diehards, Millennials that grew up with handheld gadgets while waiting for the school bus or while Mom gave 'em curbside SUV shuttles, LSU's corporate takeover of the seats, etc..

LSU has become progressively worse, as have much of the nation in a day of 85 inch QLEDs/OLEDs. TV the last few weeks, has shown pathetic fading crowds in Palo Alto, Starkville, LA, Miami, etc.. Bama fatigue/southern region/CFB becoming very much a regional sport, as the PAC, Big10, Big12 fans feel they can't truly compete for hardware, concussion studies/stats, Progressives pulling their kids from contact sports, kids becoming more E-Sports minded, never ceasing attendance costs, etc..

But, Auburn fans still pack in, and stay, and wave their pom poms 'til the end, and Notre, even Mich for Harbaugh's Stone Age act. LSU fandom has become a bit poseurish..at least compared to it's former glory.

It really pissed me off when they caved and stopped wheeling Mike out.

Also, it is kinda dumb to play "Bitch, I'm from Louisiana" when playing another state school. It's pretty dumb to play it at all.

I don't understand it either. It's only a few days a year. Why pay for the tickets to leave at half? Why even bother? When i get to go I write the evening off. Who cares if it takes a while to get out? I drive 6 hours to be there and commit the weekend to the game pretty much. Stay to the end. It isn't hard. Yes, I know there are exceptions with children etc. Somehow i don't think they apply to most of the hordes of fans leaving so early.

I noticed the Texas Longhorn stadium was packed for LSU game. Stayed that way to the end. Tiger Stadium and fans used to be that way.

LSU fans leave early because they are weak.

This is a fairly new phenomenon at LSU... we always waited until the last couple of minutes left in any game before we started making our way to out the stadium for most of my life, and the traffic was still a beast. That’s a bullshite excuse to leave early.

I stay until 5 minutes left, traffic is very light. But I do not understand why people get up, drive to the stadium sit around for hours then leave early. crazy

Looks like its been devastating to recruiting so far...

1. Stadium is too big
2. Infrastructure is terrible around the stadium
3. Cops don't care/aren't helpful getting people out
4. Gameday experience is not what it used to be
5. That being said, I know how to get the hell out of there - got my parking pass in a lot conducive to leaving in the direction I want to go. Don't screw around getting out once the game is done. Not everyone plans like this, I totally understand people not wanting to get stuck in the morass. Lots of nostalgia for me since I went to school at LSU, but if I wanted to leave before the game was over, I'd have no qualms doing so.

Fans stayed for a top ten matchup and the game was pretty close?

Link? Sounds far fetched but honestly wouldn't surprise me.

Would just like to read that for myself....

I mean, what are they going to do? Award better grade points for students who stay the whole game? Fail those who leave early?

If that's true, I'd just tell them to F O, and not attend games.

---

Or, just downvote instead of providing a link. That's cool too.

The very next thing they need to do to keep ppl in the stands is a massive overhaul of the wi-fi system. It needs to work,

Totally agree. Don't understand why this wasn't done years ago. Probably 1/4 of the people in the stands are using wifi if it worked well.

Use some of the beer revenue NOW to get rid of AOL dial up and get some real broadband.

I was at the game. I left about midway in the 3rd quarter, just after most of the potential recruits left.
