The smart thing to do is knee it into the half and regroup, you're not housing a screen against a prevent defense.

That wasn't a prevent defense - not even close. We had seven guys at the line and we blitzed.

Miles needs to play Madden on 2 minute quarters as a training device to learn clock management aka football 101. Been saying this for years. I'm not joking either. It would work and most likely result in one more victory a year for LSU.

Basically Les-bashers out thinking themselves. .
LSU ran the clock out and sort of took a shot. Simple as that. I'm not surprised to see the anti-fans confused by something so simple.

No, we took a sh*t.

We've been terrible on screens all year.

The worst thing about all this is that Les never once has considered how his play-calling makes you feel. He just doesn't have the chest to please you with football.

You crazy, sad narcissists.

Yes, because I'm the first person ever to say "we" in conversation when referring to the football team from the university that I graduated from, worked for and continue to support financially, etc.

Also, your "chest" sentence makes about as much sense as that timeout and screen pass made.

but I get the purpose of the safe play with 3 seconds.

But why milk the clock down from 30 seconds to three seconds only to run a play? That's doesn't make any sense at all

Because if you don't get the first down, MSU is using their TO's to force a punt.

That's the most passive paranoid approach I have ever heard of

You have 30 seconds. Why not try to put points up on the board? We saw wha Harris could do with a few seconds.

It would have made more sense to run it to 15 seconds. Then if we get the big gain we still likely have a few seconds to either hail mary or kick a field goal. If it gets stopped MSU might burn a timeout but a punt almost deflates the clock. It is a sad state of affairs if we can't trust a chavis defense to make a stop on a desperation half time play.

We called timeout to kill the clock after their 3rd down play, before their punt. That made no sense either. The feeling in the suite I was in was that Les wanted us to suffer some more.

Shame on Les Miles for not taking your feelings into account when callig plays. Arguing over a benign play call six days later is normal and healthy. You do not have a problem.

Well, hell, I know I'm not normal and have problems. This is just a small one. Then again, Les eats grass and wears a jacket in 90+ degree temperatures, so he ain't exactly a model of sanity either.

Either be aggressive or take a knee and go to the locker room. Don't risk injuries on plays that you are just running so the fans don't boo b/c you took a knee.
