So, your okay with throwing 5-6 snaps away?

I don't think you would be. I think he'd be a positive addition similar to how Ryan Perrilloux was.

That's counting sack yardage.

..and? He takes way too many sacks for a mobile QB and sacks are drive killers.

Remember when the running qb for LSU was easily able to score against Tennessee with 25 seconds left in the game and the ball at the goalline... oh wait.

How so? Jefferson isn't Cam Newton or Percy Harvin. There's virtually no threat of a big play from him running.

Lee is the best pass option.

Ware and Ford are the best run option.

There you go. Best pass/run option for the team.

Seriously. What works right now is the play action pass. Lee throws it the best. What do I want to do? go back to Jefferson in the shotgun with a read/react fake and then bad passes afterwards. Cmon people haven't you seen enough in the first four games to see how much better the offense is without JJ?

If we don't struggle in the red zone going forward, I've already said that Jefferson shouldn't get snaps (unless the game isn't in doubt).

But if we start to struggle in the red zone, then giving Jefferson 3 or 4 snaps per game should benefit the team.

Play action keep them on their heels more than a wildcat.

As I've said before, there is a reason Pro teams don't run a gimmicky offense like the wildcat.

Any play he is in for takes plays away from what is currently a productive offense.

This is correct. Don't fix it if it ain't broke.

He can't be trusted, he lied to the coach, why mess with Lee's head and have him looking over his shoulder. Let him ride the pine a little while and the put him on kickoff coverage since everyone on this site thinks he has great running ability

I love how people are just assuming that Bama and UF won't be prepared for JJ to potentially throw the fricking ball when he started two full seasons at QB.

I'm sure a veteran Bama defense will be completely bamboozled when JJ comes in. "OMG guys JJ is in STACK THE frickING BOX"

Why do you have to have a so called running QB to keep a defense on it's heels? You can do it with any decent running game and a good QB who knows how to utilize play action fakes which Lee is very good at.

LOL. Perrilloux was way more talented as a runner and thrower than JJ. There is no comparison.

The only similarity between JJ and RP is that they were both black.
