I feel like a broken record for repeating this over and over again, but the Louisiana talent the last couple of years, including this year and next year is pathetic. Maybe the worst it's ever been.

Brady's success, and I give him full credit for the successes that he did have :nodstoTiger20: was built on Louisiana talent, with a few exceptions. There has been almost nil in Trent's short tenure, with no break until 2012.

This is the absolute truth. Louisiana hasn't produced anything close to an McDonald's All-American in the last few years.

I think next year is a very good year. I see the s.e.c. as not a strong conference. they got four teams in and two were out on day one. Therefore, you don't have to be final four material to win a lot of games in this conference. LSU can win a lot of games next year.

Next years team appears to have two solid point guards. I think ross miller is the key. he's the guy who can break others down with the dribble and hit other guy's for the open shot. You will have four guy's that can play some point, miller, stringer, spencer, and bass. (good depth)

White and warren bring some rebounding. ludwig brings some good depth with harris.

Darenbecker and stringer bring good outside shooting. spencer's shooting should be improved due to not having to play the point and someone providing him open looks.

I like the passing ability of darenbecker, ludwig, and ross miller.

i see next years team, while young, as a top 3 to 5 team in the s.e.c. we will have players and depth. Dotson was a top 100 guy who may really come on next year due to being healthy.

A starting five of harris, white, warren, ross miller, and dotson/stringer/spencer/ or darenbecker gives a lot of flexibilty to trent. we should be 9 deep next year. We will have depth and size.

who know's the power forward from Ms. or turner may be a surprise too. Regardless, next year will be a dramatic improvement from this year and will provide the foundation for the years to come.

We don't have the one and done type guy's/talent. therefore, we wont have the inconsistantcy in the program. however, we probably will not have a final four type team either.

let's see how these guy's do. If they do well and stick around, we can take a risk on a one and done type guy to get us over the hump.

I think Trent has proved with this next class coming in, he won't have to rely only on in-state recruits. When La is down, this guy can go out and bring in recruits from out of state. Trent's got this recruiting stone rolling. He's starting out having to push it up hill, but after another 2-3 seasons, that rock's going to reach the peak of that hill and then watch out below....

I think the jury is still out on Dotson. Wasn't he coming off a knee injury? I;m sure once he gets confidence back in his knee we'll see the talent we've all heard about. And if you look at Bo and Storm's performance in freshman and sophomore seasons respectively, they both improved tremendously. I hope this will be the case for Dotson (and Eddie).
